Synopsis

One day, after waking up from a dream, Josh found himself transported from the 21st century to Chicago in 1943, transformed into a poor young boy on the streets.

World War II? For Josh, who wasn't even 18 yet, it seemed too scary.

But as an orphan, the most important thing for him was figuring out how to survive in this era.

Fortunately, he had a Dimensional Trading System, and in this time, being a Interdimensional trader seemed like it could provide a comfortable life.

However, a few months later, just as his life started to improve, Josh stared in silence at the stage of a war charity performance, where Captain America was singing and dancing with a group of girls.

It's over. He was doomed.

This place was actually the Marvel Universe!

This story is such a fun read so far. You can tell how much effort both the author and translator have put into it. Not only do you have events happening that are fairly faithful to the MCU, but you get to learn about some real-life historical events and their causes/effects. It goes to show how much research the author must have gone through to write this, as well as the translator since they give explanations and little tidbits of history in their notes. Be warned, this isn't a power fantasy in the traditional sense. The MC uses his trading system to accrue resources, not physical/mystical power. This leads to him gaining power in an non-traditional sense to these kinds of stories, but it's extremely interesting to see this development. Another thing of note is that characters aren't forgotten. Think that the author forgot a character? Nope, they've been doing work in the background, we just don't see it because we're focused on the MC. This leads to the world feeling alive, especially since the MC's interference in global events leads to actual, tangible changes to world history. If you're looking for a story that has a lot of love put into it, is set in the MCU during the mid-20th century, and is as educational as it is fun, this is the story for you.

Can't believe I'm learning WW2 and marvel history from a fking chinese translated FANFIC!!!!!! FU*KKKK. This story is way too good to be a translated chinese ff. there is also practically no chinese brand racism thanks to the translator. He also explains many things. I....I'm stumped. I can't imagine a single thing to complain about. The only thing I can imagine complaining about is its lack of action. but then again, it was always like that. this story wasn't a bait and switch. Plus we already have too many op action ffs. This one has no need to be one. And because of that, it's a very fresh concept. I love it and I can't stop reading. Everyone, give stones!! I need those bonus chapters.

The guy that gave it 3 stars is r*tarded, this story is great. Only way to not enjoy it is if you hate slow development or just want wish fullfilment slop. Even then the development while slow never had me bored. Translating this must have been a pain the a*s too, so props for the translator's amazing work🫡

Ok so first off and this is interesting idea and has great potential and creativity. And here comes the but, but it’s a shitty ass novel good translation but the original work is just garbage for 3 reasons 1. It’s fucking as hell racist honestly what can you expect from a chinse man reincarnated into a German immigrant in the USA but even that it’s just plain retarded how bias the author is to China. 2. It’s character design/world logic is trash every character is flat and dull conversations is so simple. the author tries to keep tot he lore when he adds random shit like Disney it’s like he read that one German ww1 novel I think it’s called blood and iron idk but that’s the vibes I’m getting from it but a really shitty version. 3. It’s plot it’s so fucking slow not to mention the author is such a hypocrite with everything he says. In the end I can see where this is going and I like some of it but there are factors that just are repulsive for me to read a good story. And honestly I can take some racism it’s in every chinse fic or novel but at some point this just gets to a point of like wtf is happening it’s like it’s getting written but a chinse Pakistani Jews Japan like I’m not saying there good in anyway but wow. This is bad.

Just read everything in 2 days, very slow start imo early on. But it picks up fast after chapter 50-60. It’s well translated and have done great removing stupid Chinese racism👌🏼 Only thing I think could improve would be the mc’s ambitions, like you are in Marvel and you can connect to other worlds? Why not think of power you want and how you desire to prolonge your life. And why not ask Yuri for strong personal weapons? You should try to get nano suite like Iron man maybe? Or atleast have plans of what you wanna try to get your hands on. Regardless, good story and you gonna get my PS, keep up the good job.

This book deserves a 5 star review, I mean, I am a guy who likes to read fantasy genre alot and that is the reason why I started reading this book, the surprise, till the current chapter I have read (probably 40-41), I have not read any point telling that this story is in the MCU and only thing till now which has been fictional is the MC reincarnating, have a system and a crossover with the movie (Grace Kelly) except that the story has been having the real world elements and I don’t hate it, infact I love it and will continue to do so as long as the author keeps posting the chapters.

I think the story has a good start. At this time there are currently only 12 chapters, so I cant say anything for certain. If this is getting regular updates, I do think that it can become one of the better stories here. So keep up the good work Author 😄

Very good, it's a webnovel that mixes classics with "Peaky Blinders", Marvel and etc... It's worth reading, even if the pace is slow. Very good, it's a webnovel that mixes classics with "Peaky Blinders", Marvel and etc... It's worth reading, even if the pace is slow.

No professional reviewer, just a dude giving his two-cents (for what it's worth). This review is based off where I've read up to, chapter 199, though after I got to this point I switched over to the MTL version and finished the novel over there. It goes up to 378..77? chapters, but this translated version and the MTL version don't fully line up with the number of chapters, so this version of the translation might end up with more. Simple scoring: everything is at 4 stars, good but not great. It's not your typical "get OP at all costs" .... well, it kinda is actually, but not how might be thinking. The MC isn't a battle maniac, he's a merchant who uses what he has to his advantages and in turn manages to "get OP at all costs" ... hahaha. I fully recommend reading this novel as it's very entertaining, but ... WOW does it have some very ...'questionable' moments in it. I'm gonna try to explain the novel, without giving spoilers, but at least to explain what you'll be getting into. First off, no harem. Yeah, that's right, a Chinese novel without a harem.. I know right?! Second, the MC is an anti-hero. To those on his side, he is a great hero, a benefactor, an all-around great guy. Heck, even those not on his side, just so long as they don't irritate him or anger him, even if you have something he needs, he still tries to be friendly at first. That's not to say he doesn't have his villainous moments, cause he still has plenty of those, but he always knows which team he's playing for. Third, the MC is racist, like... SUPER racist. Not to the same .... uuhhh, 'angle' as say... a certain mustached WW2 German whose name might rhyme with mitler. No, the MC is less violent with his racism but just as, if not more so, prone to 'removing the issue'. He doesn't do 'camps', he is not THAT violent, but he does ... well, explaining it would spoil it and I don't wanna do that. So just read it if you want... or don't, but just be aware, the MC IS racist, so don't be surprised that you weren't warned. Forth, moving past the previously mentioned issues you will find that the novel does a pretty fantastic job of going into details; regardless if it's about history, Marvel knowledge, the various different worlds he gets into contact with, I was very impressed with it all. Everything always seems to lead up to something else, which is something I found great, no loose ends..... ~UNTIL! The novel ending. Things just... fast... out of nowhere...so many loose ends. I guess the original author just ran out of ideas or just got bored or ... something? I don't know, but the ending needs work. Something I hope the translator might fix, doubt it, but eh, you never know. So yeah, no spoilers (I think?) other than kinda about the ending? Anyways, I still recommend giving the novel a read cause it accomplishes it's job as a free online novel, that is 'to be entertaining'.

Surprisingly a really good story and a really good translator, even though the author is Chinese the info and time that the author puts in this ff is worth mentioning. If he wasn’t that bias towards Chine but I understand why he has to do it.

to be honest, the translation is good, but the story itself is shit... The main character is another Chinese degenerate who commits suicide and survives. For example: the main character's car was stolen. He sees that the hijacker has gone to the Italian quarter. the character thinks about how creepy it is, and that the Italians will kill him. and then he finds his car in the warehouse, as well as the car of the mafia boss, and decides to steal the mafia car. although he was warned that he would be killed the next day for this. His fear of the mafia was gone, even though he hadn't pissed his pants before. I just dropped the story at this point, realizing that then he alone would take out the entire mafia clan without holding a weapon in his hands before that.

**My perfect day off** The perfect day off for me is an opportunity to spend time with loved ones and do things I love. I like to start the morning with a leisurely breakfast with my family or friends. Then you can go for a walk in the park or just sit on a bench, enjoying the peace and fresh air. After a walk, I usually spend time with my hobbies. It can be reading, drawing, playing a musical instrument, or something else that brings me joy and satisfaction. I also love to cook, so on a day off I can delight myself and my family with new culinary masterpieces. In the evening, you can watch an interesting movie or TV series, play board games or just chat with your loved ones. The main thing is to enjoy the moment and enjoy what you are doing. The ideal day off is an opportunity to relax and unwind after a working week, recharge your batteries with positive emotions and energy for new achievements.
