A perfect match.

I glanced at Darcie before walking over to Hailey. "Why do you look upset?" She asked and I gave out a sigh of relief that she didn't hear anything.

"I'm not upset babe. I just got off a work call." I said and she nodded. She walked to Darcie.

"Darcie, when did you get here?" She asked and embraced her. Darcie smiled at her.

"A couple of minutes ago. Calvin told me that you were sick." She said as they both sat on a sofa. I sat on a different sofa. "How are you feeling right now?" She asked, pretending to care about her.

"I'm feeling better, thanks to Calvin." Hailey said and glanced at me. "Thanks for coming." She said to Darcie.

I can’t believe she has been friends with a girl who is this deceitful. I am sure Hailey has no idea the kind of person Darcie is.

"I'll order you something for you to eat because, you know, I can’t cook." She said.

"I will do that myself, don't bother." I said. I mean, who knows if she would poison the food.
