Chapter 24

"It was just a kiss.. it's no big deal" Ashley says with a shrug. "Well.. I haven't kissed anyone before and I didn't imagine my first kiss being with that douchebag" I say as I pull on my star wars shirt and jean shorts. Ashley looks at me with an incredulous expression.

"What?!" She asks "You're kidding right?" She asks again. "Uhh.. no I'm not. I haven't kissed anyone before" I say. "Wait.. so you've never even kissed your fiance Jake?" She asks in disbelief. "No.. I haven't. We.. we've decided to keep ourselves until marriage" I say. "That's ridiculous" Ashley says. "No it's not.. it's being chaste. We love each other regardless. And we don't need to kiss to prove that" I say and Ashley face palms herself. "I can't believe this. Your relationship is deathly boring" Ashley says. "Well.. we're okay with it" I say

"That's horrible.. trust me it is. There's no spice no juice to your relationship.. no offense to you though buy your relationship with Jake is bland" Ashley states and I pretend to brush off her statement about I and Jake's relationship. "Our relationship isn't bland" I argue with Ashley instead. "Say whatever you want. No normal guy will be in a relationship without having sexual relations with his girlfriend or fiancee" Ashley says "Well.. Jake is okay with it and he's not complaining" I say. "Because he's either cheating on you or he's gay" she simply says and goes back to her scribbling.

I sit on my bed and I don't have a comeback for what she said. I haven't actually reasoned it this way. What if Jake really is gay?. He hasn't ever had a problem with just hugging and cuddling. He respects my decision to not get so intimate. Does this mean that he's comfortable with it because he's cheating?. But who's he cheating on me with if he's really cheating?. I shake those thoughts out of my head. Don't be foolish Kelly Jake won't cheat on you with anyone.

"How's Kim?" I ask Ashley who is cleaning up her reading table after scribbling and scraping on her drawing book. "She's fine actually" Ashley says with a smile. "Okayyy.. tell me what happened?" I say to Ashley with a hint of mischief in my voice. "Well.. we talked today and.." she trails off "And...?" I ask her eagerly.

"She says.. she's ready to take things to the next level..." Ashley says not completing her statement "And.. we're official now. She's my girlfriend and I'm her girlfriend too. That makes us a couple" Ashley says beaming. "Awwnnn.. I'm so happy for you Ash" I say to as I squeal in excitement. I rush over to her bed "At least you had a good day today unlike me" I say and she smiles. "So tell me everything. When did she tell you and how did she tell you?" I ask Ashley and she tells me everything.

Adrian's Pov

I try to get a hold of myself and control the anger I'm feeling but I can't. That girl! She drives me insane not in a sexy way because she's anything but sexy and she's definitely not my type. I take a shower wear my basketball jersey and go to play some basketball. I don't have practice today but I need to put my energy into something productive.
