Chapter 82

Miguel's pov

For days now, classes with the triplets are almost comical, each of them lost in their thoughts most of the times.

They don't pay attention to me, they don't sit with me for the lunch, and they sure don't escort me to home.

Bianca does all the work for them, the only thing they do with me is sit with me throughout our classes.

"You sure know how to keep our Alphas on their toes," Bianca comments one afternoon as we were sitting under the shade of a tree.

Since she learnt I now know their million dollars secret , she've taken to referring to the trips as Alphas.

I will confess knowing all the people in this town are wolves spooked me, but the words of reassurance from both the trips and Bianca made me hold my peace.

I faked ignorance of what she's saying "I don't understand your words."

She playfully shoves me "oh  oh her eyes glazed over for a second before it returned to normalcy "am sorry for playfully shoving you,"she  rolls her eyes "apparently  the Alphas saw when I shoved you."

" Your mode of internally communicating really spooks me." I  still haven't gotten used to the idea of them communicating telepathically.

" Don't worry about that love,"she  made to pinch me, but withdrew her hand almost immediately " you will be able to communicate like we do when you complete the mate bonding with them."

I looked behind me when i felt eyes on me, and I was met with six identical eyes.

I waved at them "want to join me? are you three already tired of my request?"

And like I know they will, they three walked into the building without turning back.

"You really have the three wrapped around your pinkie,"  Bianca winks "never in my life have I thought I will see the always serious Alphas like how they're now."

" Let's go inside it's almost break over, and I don't want to be late for class," I stood up from the ground.

I don't actually want to enter inside the school building because of being late, I just want an excuse to see the trips.

She gives me a knowing look "why do I get the feeling you're not actually going in because of class?"

I roll my eyes "it's because you don't want to believe that's the case."

Hastily packing our lunch, I walked towards the school, not even bothering to check if Bianca is following me.

"You know you can call an end to your proposal if you want right?"

"Who said I want to call an end to anything?" I give her a scorching glare

"think I can't endure a month without them? It's almost two weeks since I gave them the ultimatum yet am still alive."

I wish the extra two weeks we have remaining will move by in a blur, that way we won't have anything withholding us from being together.

How stupid I was for suggesting so stupid a thing; for not thinking to the future when I made that suggestion.

"Your behavior whenever you're in close proximity to them didn't show how well you're taking it," she raises a brow " if I know better I will say the four of you are in the same level."

Not bothering to reply her words, I hastened my steps; I need to at least ogle them from a distance before classes....

"ouch"

I cradle my nose in pain, my eyes closed( I read from somewhere that if you have you eyes tightly closed, you won't feel much pain).

"Sorry,"  I heard a voice reply.

Cracking an eye open, I gasped when my eyes viewed an almost exact replica of the triplets.

Blinking to make sure am not dreaming, and my eyes haven't conjured him up, I give him a once over.

The only difference between him and the triplets are; he's not as tall as the trips, where the triplets are freakishly tall, he's moderately tall.

His blue eyes aren't as bright and sparkling as the trip's and his dirty blonde hair if not anything, gave him out.

"Who are you?"

if the Triplets are older, I will really believe this is their son.

He smirked " I should be asking who you're pretty boy."

"If am you Manuel I will steer clear if him. I don't think you want your cousins' wrath to be on you," Bianca steps in front of me protectively.

The said Manuel looked at her wide eyed

"I don't mean to impose on you," he turns and walked towards class.

"Who's he?" I  kept looking at him till he walked into class, my eyes glued to him against my will.

"He's the Alphas' cousin,"she sighs "he just recently came back after many years of being abroad. "

" What's he doing here?"

Bianca raised a brow " this his pack of course. He just left to get more experiences, and now he's back to his home town."

I nod as if I understood her words while I truly don't.

Walking into class, I took my seat beside the triplets who grew rigid the moment I sat down on the chair designated to me.

"Is there anything the problem?" I raised a brow at their odd behaviours, but like the other times before, they don't answer my questions.

Sitting with them without either touching or talking to them is taking a toll on me.

It's just like dangling a meat in front of a famished dog.

I know I ought not complain since am the one who made the proposal, but it's more than affecting me, and breaking my words isn't an option for me.

It will make me look weak of i decide I don't want them to compete again.

That morning when I made the proposal, the words sounded better in my head, by right l as I review it, I know it's not as dope as it sounded to me on that fateful morning.
