Chapter 94

Miguel's pov

I spent the rest of the day with Manuel, and boy must I confess it was more than I've ever imagined; he was the perfect friend, a friend worth keeping.

"Bianca!" I shout when I saw her trying to enter her car.

Funny how I sought her out now when she was the one who normally does that.

I guess the world sure does rotate.

She entered her car without a backward glance, not even bothering to turn to look at me.

I would have thought she didn't hear me if she was a normal human, but with her werewolf powers it's quite difficult to believe she didn't hear me when I called.

What's wrong with her? why is she avoiding me all of a sudden?

Did I do something wrong?

was it because of the Alphas?

"My loyalty is towards the Alphas,"  that's what she says almost all the time.

Standing there at lost of what to do and how best to solve the problem between us, I looked dejected at the empty school lot.

"I don't think the betas actually wants to go there, Richard voiced his opinion about the trip." I heard Damien says behind me.

"Hi,"smile  when I turned to face the still descending males "are you on your way home?"

"I don't think Richard supports Delight's arguments, they both kept bickering back and forth. Bianca was in support of Richard, but she made it seem like she's in support of Delight, that girl sure is a complicated case," Donald answered.

" Let's cast lots again, and this time we will make sure everyone is present for the lot casting," Daniel said as they walked past me without bothering to spare me just a look.

"Damien?" I  called after the one I know is likely to make others reconsider. Donald might be the wise one among them, but they do things in favour of Damien.

I guess to make up for his insecurities.

"You have to call them out now, we need to move on with that," Damien said before they entered their car and zoomed off without giving me a backward glance.

I guess am the cause of all this?

I walked home as slowly as I can without checking to know exactly the route am taking; my mind completely and utterly occupied with thoughts about the triplets.

What will I do to make them forgive me? how will we return to who we were?

"Hello pretty," a male I've never seen before ( which is saying something because I know everyone or you can say.

I've seen almost everyone in this tight close knit town) called out "are you looking for a good time?" he licks his lips.

"I don't know you are, neither do I want to know, but I will like for you to leave me alone," I continued on with my walk, not in the least bothered about the male who's now following me.

The trouble am having with the triplets made me not to be bothered about something as insignificant as the male following me.

"Can I have a little time with you beauty?"  the male asked, this time more closer than he was.

"Don't call me that, and I don't have your time," I continued walking, but he sharply caught my arms, and when I made to shout, he covered my mouth with his palm, and dragged me off to the forest.

"Let.. me go!" my shouts and words were muffled by his palm on my mouth.

Mustering all the strength in me, I back kicked him, and as lucky as I was when I kicked him, it landed right on the place the sun doesn't touch until he exposes it.

He doubled over in pain.

Leaving  me to tend to his little wound gave me the opportunity to bolt.

I took to my heels, stupidly running into the forest instead of towards the place humans are.

"Not to fast darling...." he stopped my stupid racing into the forest.

"I see you want things the hard way," he  smirks "I have something hard you might like,"  he drags my hair.

"Let him go this instant," I  heard a voice speak behind us.

"Go find your own amusement," the male said as he continued dragging a struggling me into the forest.

"I said let him go!"

I felt myself being separated from him.

I was moved to a side and the male who pushed me stood in front of me in a protective stance.

"What?" the male's eyes widened when he saw the person in front of him.

"Beta Richard?" He looks pale "it's not what it looks like..."

"What it looks like?" Richard looks lost in thought " I saw you dragging your Luna into the forest, and you're telling me it's not what it looks like? pray tell what it actually is."

" Lu....Luna?" The male's already widened eyes became bigger as he processed the words " he doesn't have the Alphas' scents on him," the male protests.

" It wouldn't have mattered if he was your Luna or not,"  Richard's voice is too cool to be considered normal " what you intend to do isn't only a crime on the Alphas, but that of the pack. Your behavior is the most frowned of all."

" Please Beta, am sorry," the male pleads " I haven't done anything to him!"

"You haven't because I stopped you, who knows what you would have done if I've not stopped you,"

" please Beta, am sorry I won't do it again," he pleads.

" You will have to answer to the Alphas,"  the Beta said in an authorized way,

"please Beta, I beg of you. Please allow me just this once,"  the male continues to plead.

" Only the Alphas can allow you this slide," Richard says.

" You can let him go, I don't mind," I  said when I saw how troubled the male looked.

" You don't mean that, do you?" Richard asked with a raised brow.

I shrug "he's really regretting his actions, allow him to go."
