Chapter 225 It's Not Over Yet

Nora's point of view..

Gina took us on a journey of zebra crossing. We had to pass so many corridors before getting to the garden. It almost seemed to be like the one she has back home in Beverly, only that this one is ancient old. Having a peaceful mind is the ultimate, I am calmer now than when we came, so is Govey.

   I thought of home and I wondered what Jeff and Ben are up to. If Ben has been able to find his family but how could he?, Is not like the family is waiting to be found.

    We all settled on the sitters, Gina was in the middle while Govey sat on her and I on her left.

   "Off course his family will never be found because Jeff does not exist so you should stop seeking for his family"

Gina said, at first I did not know if she was talking to me until she mentioned Jeff's name.

   "And what is that supposed to mean?"

I asked her confused, Govey was confused too.

"It means what it means, Jeff does not exist, simple"

Gina said without missing words. If Jeff does not exist who is he or rather what is he?

"One thing you are to be sure of is that he is a friend, when he feels it's time for him to leave, he will leave. I just told you so you would stop worrying about him besides, Ben is aware too and Jeff has to be the reason you are still in one piece"

I sighed, I should have known. He was so reluctant to go home and his weird attitude and the way he talks. So it is more like he is here to protect me but why or should I say because of Lady D.

   "Stop trying to figure out what is beyond comprehension. If I tell you that Glamorous lives, will you believe me? The thing is Glamorous died but resurrected herself and the funny part is she is at loggerheads with your enemy, the jungle witch"

   Govey mopped at Gina while I stared at her lost. Glamorous is alive but how come?.

"That's what I have been trying to figure out. She might be alive but she can't cross the portal. So don't panic"

She said, this witch princess will not stop reading my mind. She at least allows me to voice my thoughts out before responding.

  "Sorry darling but I can't help it"

She replied with a small smile on her face. I exhaled, if her reading mind is the only problem then there is no problem. My mind flashed back to my dream and her last words that day she died.

   "It's not over yet"

I calmed down, I thought I was going to have peace after all but with this news how will one have peace of mind? But if the witch princess is not panicking, then no one else should.

    "But why would she be at loggerheads with Lady D?"

    Govey asked, exactly the question on my mind.

"She feels you are her aunt and any enemy of yours is hers"

Gina replied yet I still did not understand. Glamorous I know can never be nice or do one good in her life. Though when evil has not eaten deep into her system, she was the sweetest soul ever. Now, there is now way unless there is a reason she is fighting lady D more like she might be her enemy too but I don't believe she is fighting Lady D because lady D is my enemy. 

   "All I know is that with time things will unfold. We will should just be at alert and don't think it's over yet"

Gina advised and Govey and I nodded our heads.

   "So how is Ben?"

She finally asked and I blushed.

   "I thought you were never going to ask, he is fine and his experience with Jeff brought the other side of him I did not know exist"

  "I know right, he might probably be jealous of the little guy only that the guy is not little"

She said, chuckling and smiled. Who would have thought that we were living with someone who has no originality.

   I am still baffled though, I can't believe Jeff does not exist.

  "It is what it is, my dear friend. In our world there are a lot of impossible possibilities."

Gina said and I could agree no less. The world of the witches, the mere mortals can't understand and we that it concerns sometimes don't understand either, still I am proud of who I am and we remain the best in our best because each race is unique in their own way.

     I have come to understand that in our life, each day comes with it's own mystery to reveal. I have lived clueless for the hundred and half years and life had no meaning until Nature decided to make all prophecy come to pass.

   We never stopped fighting evil as long as we live, it's an everyday battle.
