Chapter 365 Good Luck Trying

  Gina, Xylie and Rory arrived at the party a few minutes to 8pm.

   The hall was decorated with balloons around with coloured bulbs. The hall was spacious and would contain hundreds of people to work according to the purpose tonight.

    Lady D would be trapping a lot of souls together with Ben and his mate, so she thought. After she succeed, she would become the most recognized white turned black witch and she would be unstoppable, like she always wanted.

    The atmosphere was colorful and so was the mood of the people tonight.

   The celebrant was in great anticipation of tonight.

   Gina and co were ushered in like every other person. Gina had disguised herself and others which will be hard for the witches present tonight to recognize them.

   They got in and mingled with other guests. The party was just starting and everyone was in the mood to rock the party, ready to enjoy at large.

    A moment later, Ben, Nora and Jeff arrived at the party. Loveth sighted her and walked towards her with a huge smile on her face.

    "I was beginning to think you would not make it, glad to have you here"

She said and hugged Nora.

   "I gave you my word and I am to fulfill it"

Nora told her after they broke the hug. Loveth smiled at Ben, she knows better than to do any other thing when it comes to Ben.

   Jeff smiled at her and she cringed. What the hell the boy is doing with them did not quite sit well with her.

   "Well the party is just starting, I hope you will enjoy the party?"

  "I will make sure we do"

Ben said and Loveth ushered them inside and when they went inside. The smile on her face dropped.

    "I don't care who you are little boy but you will never be a reason why tonight will now be successful."

She thought and went inside. 

  Lady day had disguised herself as a stewardess. She was serving drinks and making sure everyone was comfortable.

  She got to Nora who was busy adjusting Jeff's shirt. She smiled at Nora who returned the smile.

   "This little boy of yours look cute"

She said,

   There was no point explaining to the lady that Jeff is not her son so she nodded her head.

   "He is and he wants to follow me everywhere I go."

Ben never said a word, he was just observing the lady who was aware of the stares that lingers on her.

  "I am sure he did not recognize who I am"

She thought to herself.

   "Kids of his age does that so don't blame him but be mindful where you allow him to go with you,not every place is favorable for a kid like him"

She handed them the drinks and went in search of a lemon juice for Jeff who narrowed his eyes on her diminishing back.

   He sucked in air and the Poison on Nora's and Ben's drink turned harmless, same with everyone present. His presence alone had modified the air.

  Gina sighted Nora and Ben with Jeff and she exhaled. She had been wondering why they have not arrived because without them, tonight will be rescheduled and next time, Lady D might succeed.

   Glamorous had joined the party after Nora and Ben came. She had kept her gaze on the couple and had been watching out for any suspicious movement around them.

   It seems everyone is ought to protect Nora and Ben. It's time when good and evil emerges together to fight a particular evil.

   Lady D reappeared with a glance of Juice for Jeff who gladly took the drink and bowed his head.

 "Thanks Ma'am, the intention of the heart matters a lot. My mom always say"

He said, directing his gaze to Nora and Lady D nodded her head.

   "Your mom taught you well. Excuse me, I need to attend to others"

She said and left.

   "Off course Ma'am, glad luck trying"

He lifted his glass juice and Nora who caught the gesture smiled at him.

  "Cheers Jeff"

She muttered.

   Soon the background sound changed and it was dance time before the celebrant would make her appearance.

  "Can I have this dance my lady?"

Ben asked Nora who gave her hand to him and he took it.

  Rory and Xylie were dancing leaving Jeff and Gina to be without a dance party.

   Jeff, who had sighted the Witch Princess, sneaked out on Nora and Ben. When she got to Gina, he tapped on her feet and she looked down to see the boy with no identity smirking at her.

 "Can I have this dance, my lady?"

Gina chuckled, what a nerve?.

  "Sure dear"

She squatted to his level and took his hand, Jeff smiled in appreciation and began dancing gracefully.

  Jeff, seeing that Gina could not move because he was short, added to his height and was able to look sixteen with no one aware of what he did except Gina who understood how magic works.

  They made a great couple and began slowly, dancing to the tune of the music.
