84: "YOU THINK AM FOOLISH?"

"Davids," started Daniella. She sat at the edge of the bed and Davids stretched her hand to her waist. She was not prepared for anything that Daniella was going to say. She wanted her to be true to her word and be sincere to herself.

More so she wanted her to know if she can reciprocate her feelings. 

"I am afraid, I am afraid that this won't go the right way, the last time it never ended well and I don't know how this will end up?" Said Daniella. 

Davids tried to understand her but she could not get an idea of what Dee what was talking about. 

"I don't understand Dee, what are you talking about?" Asked Davids while sitting up properly.

"The last time you didn't want us to have sex, and today you are also acting this way Davids, I just want you, but some seconds ago you pushed me away, the same way you did in the detention room," said Daniella in frustration.

Davids was shocked by her words. She wondered how she has accumulated that strength to tell her that she wanted her now.

It's usually hard to tell someone that you want them after they had rejected you for the first time. She scratched her forehead and imagine what base they will be at if she hadn't pushed Daniella away.

She brushed away the thought and pulled Daniella near her. Daniella didn't back away, she willingly came closer to Davids and snuggled. Her back was on Daniella's chest. She felt warm and Davids inhaled into her scent while breathing slowly.

"What did the doctor say," asked Daniella while intertwining her fingers with into Davids.

Davids cleared her throat and placed her chin on top of Daniella's head. "They said it was just an infection because of the sweat but I am okay," she said while pulling Daniella closer to her.

"Can I ask you something?" Asked Daniella while turning her head to face Davids. 

Davids's heart started to beat because she didn't know what she will be asking.  She withdrew the thoughts from her head and nodded for Daniella to go on.

"Do you remember the mysterious house I complaints to you about and asked you to take me there?" She asked.

Davids stood up with furrowed brows. "Are you planning on going there, Dee? I thought we agreed you are going to leave it alone," Davids told her sweetly to avoid raising suspicion.

Daniella laughed loudly at her reaction. "You pretty liar," said Daniella between her laughs. 

"Why are you laughing?" Questioned Davids when she saw Daniella was still laughing and her head buried in Davids's thighs.

"You know how to pretend, I know that was your home and that is why you didn't want me to go there," said Daniella while holding her cheeks.

"How did you know?" Asked Davids.

"That morning, when you left me there, your mum came unto the too, and when I saw her today, that is when I remembered her," she said while playing with Davids's fingers.

"Are you mad about it?" Asked Davids. She knows she wasn't mad but she can still be mad.

"No, Bebs, am happy that you took me to your house, and you have cool parents by the way," she said while placing a slight kiss on top of Davids's head.

Davids looked at her and wondered how she is free with her. She didn't want to soul this moment, instead, she wanted it to last. 

But what do they stay, it's always stormy before the calm? 

Daniella moved her hands to her cheek and placed a slight kiss on her lips but Davids was too quick and stopped her lips using her index finger.

"Beb, what's wrong?" Asked Daniella with furrows on her forehead.

Davids lifted her legs to the floor, she looked at Daniella and held her hands. "Dee, I want this too, I want us to be this way, but not while we are hiding, not while I can't tell the world that you are my girl, my lady, my woman my queen!" 

Daniella was staring at her, she didn't say anything just the tears that were streaming down her face. But words, there were no words.

Not that she was afraid of what Davids was saying, No! Daniella was happy, she was happy because this is what she had wanted to hear in her life, someone who appreciates her, someone that will tell her that she loved her. 

Davids didn't know how to react to her response. She didn't know whether to hug her and wipe her tears or to kiss her and make her feel better.

Daniella hugged Davids tightly but didn't say. Davids understood her and doesn't ask her for an opinion.

"Are you serious Davids?" Asked Daniella while waking from the bed.

"Dee, I am not pressuring you to do anything, I just want us to be free and let people know that we are together," said Davids while standing up.

"Davids, you don't understand anything, do you?" Asked Daniella while looking at Davids.

Davids moves closer but Daniella moves away from her touch, "Daniella, please make me understand," pleaded Davids while standing one meter away from Daniella.

Daniella looked at her and gave out a sarcastic laugh before turning around. The next time she walked closer to Davids, she slapped her across the face. The effect of the slap made Davids stumble backwards.

"You are a good pretender Davids, you pretend you love me, you like me but just some hours ago you went and fucked Natalia in the washroom then right here you are confessing your fake undying love to me, you think am foolish? So that I can fall do you?" Questioned Daniella with anger in her face.

"I didn't do anything with Natalia Daniella, trust me, I just went to calm her down like a friend," said Davids defending herself. She did not understand is the sudden change in her attitude. 

She was happy just a second ago and hugged her after she confessed her love to her, but right now, she was acting like she has been hurt and heartbroken. 

"A friend Davids? A friend doesn't kiss her fellow friend and tells her to try this out! So about this relationship, are you trying to have some revenge on me or you are just trying to make me into something that I would later regret?" She asked who poking Davids in her chest.

Davids tried to hold her hand, she tried to calm her but Daniella pushed her away, she didn't want her closer to her.

"You know my mother was right, even Vin was right, they said you were destined to destroy me and my family, that is what your family wants to do Is it? You all are acting all welcoming and loving just so you can fuck my family up? Guess what Davids, we know the tricks and your plan has failed. If you are still dreaming of putting me in seven different positions and fuck the sense out of me? News flash! We started the race a long time ago!" She shouted pushing me towards the wall.

"Wait, did your mother also tell you that she threatened to chop off my arms when she finds you with me?" Davids asked her hoping to change her mind about her. 

But she hated herself for telling her that, she wished she had just kept quiet and let her go on.

", that serves you right! She should chop off your hands and even legs so that you won't go around terrorizing other girls with your fake, 'I love you shit!" She finished, but now she wants to be done. 

She wasn't giving Davids time to voice out her opinion. She was hurt that that Daniella wasn't feeling anything for her, that Daniella only wanted her to die and she has never been concerned with her. 

"Tell me, Davids," she started again, "what have you promised Natalia, now that you have fucked her? Or wait, you are befriending Clara so that you can also get into her pants the way you have done to Natalia?" She asked with her hands akimbo and her face all read.

"I pity her, she fell for the cheap Uber rides that you paid, the cheap foods and drinks that you bought her and now you are taking her for a date on weekend but again you are here proclaiming your love to me, who do you live Davids who do you love?" She asked.

Davids was now sitting on her hospital bed. She was fed up with Daniella's ranting and false accusations. She didn't want to raise her voice at her and cause chaos inside the hospital. 

When Daniella decided to keep quiet, she cleared her throat and looked up. 

"Why are you ranting about me being a bad person, do you know that your boyfriend is fucking one of the models right now, after drilling her after supper? Have you asked yourself why he didn't care if I was with you?" Davids asked her then slipped into her sheets.
