"Mistress!" I try calling her again, but I still got no reply from her.

I swallowed my words when I heard a growl behind me. The growl sounds not like how Blondie's and Reddy's sounds , it sounds more animalistic.

You might be asking if Blondie and Reddy are human, they're not. The issue is their growl is nothing compared to this animalistic one am hearing now.

I slowly turn my face towards where the sound is coming from.

A high shriek I later identified as mine broke the chilly silence of the dark hole. Standing in front or better yet, a few paces from me, are two identical red eyes, glowing like fire orbs.

I stood frozen on the ground, my mind filled with fear at the sight if the two glowing orbs.

My mind ceased functioning, my brain refused to work, my mouth refuses to speak again after it's shriek, and my legs stood frozen on the spots without making any indication of moving.

Gradually the fire orbs started advancing ( you can know am gauge it's advancing by checking the position of his twin scary eyes.

I took to my heels the moment the animal started it's advance towards me.

Seriously, why have i done to warrant getting so bad a luck. Why does moat misfortunes happen to me?.

I ran as fast as my human leg can carry, but I can still hear the panting the animal as it gains ground on me.

I can't believe am going to die now, and in the mouth of an unknown beast. What will Father do if he loses a son as dear to him as I am?

I increased my pace, trying to outrun the panting beast behind me. At least of i die now, I won't say I died without trying because that will be a total lie.

Running might not save me because this hole seems to be a circle. The more I run, the more it seems am not running at all.

The hotness of the beast close to me made me strive to out run it. Who knows if I will eventually tire it out, maybe luck's on my side, and the beast happens to be a lazy fat thing!.

More growls can be heard as I ran farther into the darkness. More red orbs started appearing as I ran further into the darkness.

Gods! am toast, how did i manage to get myself into this predicament?

Why did i follow the mistress into a dark place despite knowing she have nothing good up her sleeves? why didn't I run for dear life when she suggested we walk in the dark?

Am nothing but disgrace to the entire Ugali for my stupid behaviour. Blindly following a human who have life looking animals she claims she single handedly killed?

A coy female who have her office at the back of the academy yet knows almost everything that happens in the school.
