CHAPTER 111

Charlie was working on some documents in his study at his home when his secretary, Dan knocked on the door.
"Come in" Charlie said and secretary Dan comes into the study.
"What is it?" Charlie asked still working on the documents on his desk.
"I just came to inform you that the appeal for Mr George Anderson release on bail was granted and he would be out of prison in two days time" secretary Dan said.
"Okay, thank you. You can go now" Charlie said and gesturing with his hand for his secretary to leave him.
Charlie took his phone and called Sazuki. The phone was picked up immediately it started ringing.
"Hello boss" Sazuki said.
"Follow the Andersons and report any suspicious movement to me ASAP" Charlie said.
"Okay boss" Sazuki said. Charlie ends the call and continued working on the documents.

Charlie was already done with the documents in his study at his home and he calls secretary Dan into his study to collect the documents.
Eve was already done preparing herself and she went to meet Charlie in his study. Charlie was instructing secretary Dan when they heard a knock at the door.
"Come in" Charlie said. Eve opens the door and goes inside the study.
"Hey! I am done preparing. We can go now" Eve said. Eve saw Charlie's secretary, Dan and also greets him.
"Good morning secretary Dan!" Eve greeted cheerfully.
"Good morning ma'am" secretary Dan greeted back smiling. "I will be going now sir... Ma'am" secretary Dan bowed his head.
"Mhm..." Charlie and Eve hummed their answer and secretary Dan carefully walked out of the study in order not to distract his boss and his wife.
When secretary Dan has gone out of the office, Charlie looks at Eve. Eve is wearing a blue jeans that hugs her legs very well to bring out her nice shape and she wore a white lose tank top that has 'I am sexy and hot, like it or not' and these made Charlie laugh.
"Why are you laughing?" Eve asked confused. "I'm I not dressed fine?" Eve asked.
"No! That is not it" Charlie said while he is trying not to continue laughing.
"Then if that is not why you are laughing, then why?" Eve said getting more confused and she was pouting.
Charlie pointed at the write up on Eve's top but she misunderstood him and thought he was pointing at her br**sts.
"Pervert!😡" Eve shouted while using her hands to cover her chest.
"I meant the write up on your top" Charlie corrected himself as he saw that Eve misunderstood him.
"Oh...😳" Eve looks down on the write up and she starts to blush because she now knew she was the one thinking wrong and practically the pervert between them. "Sorry for calling you a pervert" Eve said with a barely audible voice but she was still heard by Charlie.
"No problem. Can we go now?" Charlie asked Eve.
"Okay..." Eve said and ran out of the study. This little act of Eve made him chuckled.
"Okay... Little bunny 🐰" Charlie said. He stands up from his seat and follows Eve out of the house. They entered his car and Charlie drives to the place where he wants to surprise Eve.

Somewhere in the outskirts of the city~~~~~
Charlie has been driving for almost an hour and Eve is beginning to wonder how far they need to go to reach the place Charlie said he would take her to.
"Are we not there yet?" Eve asked looking at Charlie who is driving presently.
"Almost" Charlie said not moving his eyes from the road.
"How far do we need to go before we get there?" Eve asked.
"Relax. We will soon be there" Charlie assured Eve.
Charlie drove for about an hour and 30 minutes before he stopped in front of a forest. He looked at Eve and noticed that she was sleeping. She probably fell asleep because she was tired. He looked at Eve for some while before he shook her to notify her that they have arrived.
"Eve! Eve! Wake up! We are here" Charlie said.
"Umm" Eve hummed while taking note of where they were. They got down from the car and Eve is surprised by what she was seeing.
"The place you wanted to bring me to is a forest?" Eve asked Charlie.
"Yes. Is there any problem?" Charlie asked but he saw Eve's confused reaction and continued, "ah... We actually have to go through the forest to get to the place I told you" Charlie said.
"Okay then let us go" Eve said and Charlie lead the way and they entered the forest which landed them on a narrow pathway. They walked for about 30 minutes before the house which looked like those houses in an Asian historical drama. They walked further more and they reached the gate of the house and Charlie opened the gate and they went in.
"Wow!😯" Eve is marvelled at the delicate details of the building.
"Do you like it?" Charlie asked.
"When did you buy this house?" Eve asked.
"When I was just appointed CEO but I did not just buy the house alone" Charlie said.
"What else is there to buy apart from this house?" Eve asked confused because the house seem to be the only building in the forest.
"I bought the whole forest" Charlie said and Eve jaw dropped.
"How rich are you?!" Eve asked and Charlie laughed.
"We have been married for almost a year and you still don't know how rich your husband is. Let's go inside" Charlie said and held Eve's hand and both of them went into the house.
Eve and Charlie spent two days at the vacation home. Charlie showed her round the house and Eve the forest.
