CHAPTER 134

Mr. One felt dissapointed by the whole situation. He was too late to accomplish his plans. He immediately left Mambo town and went back to town One. As soon as he arrived, he went to his room to check on Akeshia but was astonished to find out that his door was broken and Akeshia was no longer there. 

Luckily, Martin did not really leave town One. He felt that Akeshia's plan was bound to fail and he had no choice than to go ahead and defend Akeshia. He sneaked into the mansion and assisted Akeshia to get out of the room as soon as he arrived. They both  left to Olam town and even heard the news that Magdalene's body had been taken into the church near her own house where she used to live before she went to Mambo town.

Mr. One immediately left to Olam town since he knew that Akeshia and Martin had nowhere else to go except for the closer gates. He knew that he had been embarrassed and therefore felt bad about the whole situation which made him feel the urge to confront them. 

He arrived at the closer gates after so many hours and went into the mansion to check on Akeshia but Akeshia was not really there. Akeshia and Martin were at the burial ceremony  after hearing the news about it and kept pleading to be allowed to participate in the ceremony and see Magdalene for one last time.

" I cannot let you both see my grandma. My grandma suffered a lot while still at the closer gates. Why then did you allow her to be taken to the cell of hell? You should have said ' Oh no Dad. My grandma is too old to be taken into that hell' isn't that right Martin?" Asked Ruth who was standing by the door of the church where Magdalene had been taken to inorder to give her her last respects in a Godly manner. 

" I am begging you Ruth. When I got married to you you were just a simple girl who was ready to forgive at any moment. Why then are you different right now? Why are you doing all this bad things to me? What sort of a person are you? I just want to see my grandma and then leave" said Martin as tears welled down his eyes.

This triggered Ruth to feel bad for them. She never liked anybody shedding tears because it always made her to be saddened. She immediately allowed both Martin and Akeshia to pay their last respects towards Magdalene which angered Naomi. 

Ruth went towards her and tried to console her in order not to be able to create any commotions at the burial ceremony. She knew that if Naomi created any commotion, then people would think that she was guilty of the situation and she wouldn't be given the right to burry her own mother as per the rules of the land.

Mr. One arrived at the church at that instant accompanied by his warriors since the people of the closer gates had informed him of the whereabouts of Akeshia and Martin after several threats . He ordered them carry the coffin and take it into the car. The warriors went and tried to carry the coffin but they felt that the coffin was too heavy for them to carry. 

" Who are you? Why do you want to take my grandma away from me?" Ruth asked angrily as she removed her arrows from her back. 

" I am Mr. One and I am here to take both Akeshia and Faith with me including that coffin" said Mr. One laughing annoyingly. 

" What makes you think that you have the right to take that coffin? Can't you see it's even too heavy for your warriors to carry? Now listen to me young old man or whichever. You will have to kill me before you get hold of that coffin because a war will have to be here" said Ruth as Ryan, Nelly and Faith went and stood beside Ruth as a proof that they were ready to support her. They all pointed an arrow towards Mr. One including Faith which astonished Mr. One. 

" Then you and your warriors won't have to pass through Ruth only. You will have to pass through me and the rest of us who loved Magdalene. After all, why would you want to take me along with you? What do you have towards me?" Asked Faith filled with lots of curiosity.

" You do not really have to know what I have towards you. I just want to win this fight and go with you and Akeshia back home" Said Mr. One which astonished everyone at the burial ceremony.

" Stop this Mr. One. I don't need your help to get my mama any longer. I told you that I was not willing to do anything against my own daughter. What made you think that she would listen to you if she does not always listen to her own family? She choose this little girl Ruth while she was still at the age of sixteen" said Akeshia. 

Ruth looked at Faith and smiled since she knew that there was no single day that Faith was ever going to betray her for the sake of her own family. Faith was the one who had followed Akeshia and Martin to town One since she felt that their presence in town One was going to trigger something against her and Ruth and the people of Mambo town.

 This was after Ruth had whispered to her while still at the hospital that Akeshia and Martin had come to Mambo town because they wanted to see the bereaved Magdalene. This was simply because she wanted to have a conversation with them but was astonished as she saw them going towards town One.

It was when she heard about Akeshia's conversation of stealing Magdalene and the fact that Mr. One was her father.  Faith immediately decided to go back to Mambo town and informed Ruth of what was being planned. That was when they devised a way out of that and decided to go back to Olam town and perform the last burial rites there. She was just pretending a while ago that she had no idea what Mr. One wanted from her in order not to trigger any suspicions.

" Faith! I am your...." said Mr. One but Faith suddenly interrupted.

" I don't want to hear anything from you. I want you and warriors to get out of here. You never even knew grandma Magdalene and how good she was to all of us. She had never offended anyone in her entire life. She lived her life according to everyone's expectations. Such people should be celebrated in such a respectable manner and not in the manner that you are trying to make us celebrate her right now" said Faith angrily.

Faith did not really want Mr. One to tell everyone that he was her father since she did not believe in that. All her life she had lived knowing that Tupfer was father but knew that Tupfer never liked her and that is the main reason why he sent her out of the closer gates.

Mr. One felt ashamed after hearing how Faith praised Magdalene. This was simply because everyone at the burial ceremony supported her including Martin and Akeshia. He retrieved from the idea of causing war which he knew would lead to his curse .He immediately left accompanied by his warriors.

Ruth went towards Faith and hugged her so emotionally which made everyone at the burial ceremony to cry as well. 

" I ..I lack words to explain the unconditional love you have for me and my family. You will always be my sister. Thank you for always considering my grandma your grandma as well" said Ruth as tears of both joy and sadness welled down her eyes. 

" Ruth! You know I am getting too old to cry a lot. Don't make my cry so more because I know there will come at a point in my life when I will be lonely and cry a lot. You would have already gotten married and have a complete family with Ryan. What about me? I will have nothing to call family because I had never treasured such things in my life. I stopped treasuring them the moment Papa abandoned me after he chased me out of the closer gates but you, you showed me the true love of a family. I love you very much Ruth" said Faith as tears welled down her eyes.

"  You will never be alone in your life Faith because there is no single day in your life that I will ever abandon you. I want you to always remember that. And I will make sure that you get married like me too and have a family of your own my sister" said Ruth smiling. 

" But Ruth no....." Said Faith but Ruth immediately interrupted her.

" Let's mourn grandma. You have no opinion to tell me about this because Ruth never fails in her mission" said Ruth as she wiped the tears on Faith's eyes. 

Ruth held Faith's arm and led her to Magdalene's coffin. Everybody still remain silent as they kept crying. A lot of people felt that they should mourn her since she was a good ruler before she went to cell of hell and after she came out of the cell of hell. She never revenged on bad and that was the main reason why she let Martin rule the closer gates and left the closer gates.
