"I guess you must have heard about the Elrod family," he asked.

Isn’t that the Nicholas family’s name? I reasoned. It seems he knows that Nicholas and Alaric are awake, but he’s curious about where they are because they haven’t shown up since they came back alive. He’s afraid they could attack him while he is not aware.

"Yeah, I know about the family," I answered. "And how is that related to what’s happening in the city?" I added.

It’s related because two of the true blood-born vampires are alive. I assume you know what they are capable of doing," he said, walking closer to me.

"What if I don’t know anything about them?" I replied.

"I know you do. I have eyes all over the city. I know about every fucking thing that happens," he yelled. So, don’t try to act funny because I’m not going to be nice to you, "he added.

"That seems like you are threatening me," I said softly.

"Yes, I’m threatening you," he said, clarifying.

I didn’t know when I bursted into laughter. I’m sure I got them wondering why I bursted into laughter, but I just couldn’t help it.

"What’s funny about what I said?" he challenged me.

"Oh, sorry about that," I said, trying to control my laughter. But isn’t it actually funny? You said you had eyes all over the city, and you are still asking me where the brothers are. All I’m trying to say is, why can’t you just ask the vampires you had watching over the city? They should have given you information about where they are, "I ridiculed.

He looked really angry with what I just said, but he tried to make it not obvious by controlling himself. He said, "I think I know what you are trying to do," and came very close to me. He used one of his right hand fingers to hit my shoulder, and brought his mouth closer to my ears. "Do you think I don’t know where Nicholas is staying?" he whispered into my ears.

Does he think I’m dumb enough to fall for his words? He moved backwards slowly.

 "It’s just down the town right. I feel bad I wasn’t able to tell Rachael thank you for the information he gave me," he said.

Did Rachael by any chance tell him where Nicholas was? If he had told him where they were, he would have gone over there to fight Nicholas. He won’t be asking me all these questions. I guess he isn’t sure of where Rachael kept him.

Mr Fred’s house isn’t located down the town, it was just close, Rachael could have probably played with his head, he’s trying to get the exact location. 

“So why are you letting me to know about that, because I don’t still the fact that you have all this information and you still decided to keep me here asking me different questions that I have no answers for,” I sassed, I think that should be enough for me to confuse him that I know nothing about there where about.
