The Fate Of A Wolf

"Some of my disciples and night walkers have recently gone missing, I'm going to make sure I get revenge on the person who's perpetuating the act," he yelled, a loud noise followed, his army were hailing, and they kept quiet a few seconds later, he suddenly brought out a dagger, the dagger looks very ancient even though I can't get a perfect view of it.

But what if that is the dagger Nicholas is in search of, the dagger of Orcus, the dagger used in killing the true blood supernaturals? Is he planning on stabbing me with that? I have to get it from him before he makes a move.

Before I could have a second thought, Robert dashed to me, pushing me backwards, slamming my back against the wall. He had his hand over my neck, choking me. He was really strong; I couldn’t overcome his strength easily.

He kept his left hand in the air holding the dagger. He was about to strike it into my heart when I heard, what sounded like Nicholas's voice, "Are you looking for me?"

He got frozen immediately, "Nicholas!" He exclaimed, "Yeah, you got it, it’s me Nicholas," he replied, releasing his hand from my neck, and dropping his hand down, and returning the dagger back into its case. While I tried to breathe enough air as fast as I could, he turned around slowly, facing me with his back view.

"Look who’s here. What would you like me to offer you, old friend?" he asked,

"You don’t need to worry yourself about that; I’m cool," Nicholas replied.

Okay, what brought you here at this time of the day? Because this is night, you should be sleeping already," he said jokingly. Then she walked towards Nicholas and stooped a few steps away from him.

I came here because you have what I want, and I’m here to collect it from you," he replied.

"Let me think, what could that be? Wait, do you mean Adam?" he inquired.

"No, let me make it easy for you. I’m here to have the dagger of Orcus," he stated.

Why would Nicholas show up here? Everyone will become aware that he’s alive, but is he actually here to take the dagger and not to rescue me from here? That’s every bad thing about him. I shouldn’t have saved him back then, I reasoned.

Robert began to laugh in an awkward way, then stopped, "What if I don’t want to give you?" he replied.

Nicholas was busy looking around. "Wow, you have a lot of soldiers fighting for you, but you know I can kill them all in just a few minutes," he said, The way he said that was somehow scary.

"Do you think you can do that when you don’t have the dagger in your possession?" he asked.

"Oh sorry, I totally forgot about that. I didn’t have the dagger in my possession," he answered, "By the way, have you seen Alaric around?" he added.

"Now you remember, and I haven’t seen Alaric around since he woke up," Robert said softly.
