Chapter 93

"He should have paid you a visit at our old house. I was missing home terribly " Nicholas stated.

"This is no longer your home, Nick. I've taken over everything you owned. I'm now the city's ruler "He disclosed.

I felt pity for Nicholas, I can now see why he’s planning on getting a revenge, it was to take back all what he lost. Robert took over everything he owned, including his home, power, and so on. Because that's all I've got. The debate is becoming tedious. I need to get out of here as soon as possible, but not without that dagger. The dagger must not fall into the hands of Nicholas, who is also one of the bad guys. If that happens, my life will be jeopardised.

I sped up towards Robert, transforming. I dragged him from behind and threw him at his soldiers. They collapsed to the ground alongside him. I snarled and groaned loudly.

They all transformed and bolted at me; I was expecting all of them, but it appears that some of the vampires were fighting for my support; I'm not sure why.

I started fighting them, ripping their hearts from their chests, snapping their necks, and biting them to death. They either died as a result of one of those vampire-killing methods.

Everywhere was covered with blood stains within short period of time, I moved back slowly with my back, when I noticed it was like they were trying to regroup, when I got close to Nicholas, I realised he hadn't come with us; he was there with some vampires I don't know.

I assumed they were vampires fighting for me. Because Robert's army had regrouped, it was as if I haven’t killed anyone of them since we started fighting.

Robert stood across from us, looking enraged, and holding the dagger in his right hand. Richard was next to him, on his right hand, and Manson was on his left, but Fiona was no longer present.

"What made you attack him?" I've already devised a strategy to retrieve the dagger and save you. "Can't you just give me a reason for once?" he mumbled.

"Are you trying to say I'm deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly de I inquired quietly.

"Yeah," he replied quietly. "We're going to have to fight our way out of here," he said.

"However, not without the dagger." I said

He stated, "For the time being, we must abandon the dagger. It won't be easy to take the dagger from him and leave here." "Attack," he yelled in response.

While me and Nicholas looked for a way out of the courtyard, the vampires Nicholas had brought ran into Robert's army.

*************

After fleeing Robert's army, we made certain that no traces were left behind so that they could not track us down.

Nicholas was furious that I had ruined his plan. He hadn't said anything since we'd returned. He leaned back on the sofa, but he eventually spoke up. "We should be able to accept Alaric very soon, Fred," he said.

Mr. Fred revealed while you were away, "I just got some new information about him."

"What did you discover?" he inquired.

"He's been using a phoney name since he came back to life," Mr. Fred explained.

"A phoney name!" Nicholas yelled.
