Time to fight druk, Athena and kailani were fully trained now, my joy knew no limit when I saw ares back on the ground, after a very long and tiring fight between ares, kailani and Athena, together they were unstoppable.
Druk was standing on the battlefield, with Athena and kailani before him, they took their stand, until ares called the shots then the war began it wasn't an easy fight because druk could spit fire, and Athena and kailani couldn't use their powers.
They were subjected to using only the skills learnt from both Artemis And Ares, Druk proved to be strong and he resisted a lot of blows and cuts Athena and Kailani impacted on his body.
He seemed to be healing fast, I remembered what Artemis said, always target the heart, " Athena, kailani target the heart of druk" I said, "thanks Reth you are a lifesaver" athena said.
How can they forget something so important, Athena and Kailani aimed for the heart which was below his jaw,it seems drunk also read mind, because he defended his heart with a lot of flames, Athena and Kailani hard alot of tricks up their sleeve.
They divided his attention so they could get to his heart, and it worked. Athena was the first to stab him with the sword given to her by ares, and Kailani used her arrow to spare him continuously, it was a battle full of pain.
No one was ready to give up, kailani shot his heart severally, I could see light emitting from his heart,as he screamed in pain, we finally took down a heart and he fell to his feet in defeat
It wasn't easy, but definitely not impossible. Athena and Kailani materialized before me,they were rejoicing like they won an award, well victory is their award, and they came back victorious, I Was too weak to congratulate them the way I wanted to.
But they know my heart, they know if I was fit, I won't hesitate to to give them a warm hug, "don't worry reth,after the battle we would celebrate in a grand way,fit for a battle lord like you" kailani said as she threw kisses on the air for me.
Peter caught the kiss, it was a silly moment which didn't last, we were distracted but a storm of flames coming from druk, it was burning my soul, So Soo hot, I was to wear to disappear, Athena and Kailani sheided me from the harsh torment.
How is druk still alive, "he has two hearts" yelled out,I felt so disappointed, I thought we just won, I just celebrated. " Don't worry Reth we will fight till he can't stand anymore" Kailani said, then they went back to fight druk.
How can a beast have two hearts in one body, " the way of the spirit is not the way of humans" Peter said, I relaxed knowing fully well Athena and Kailani will come back victorious again.
They were meant to win, as always they already know their target, though druk proved to be strong, they won't accept defeat, Athena and Kailani lost their weapon in the process, as they sustained a lot of injuries.
They would definitely heal, but the pain that follows is excruciating, they hand to search for it in the process of fighting, druk swept kailani off her feet, and kailani held his horn firmly while Athena searched for their weapon, it was hard because druk was bent on burning them down.
" Hey I got it " Athena yelled as she got the swords, the only way she could give it to kailani was to go all the way up, which won't be hard, she brought out her swords and kailani's sword then started stabbing druk.
From his legs she used it to climb higher like she was climbing a mountain, she finally got to the top, " come kailani get his left eye" she yelled out as druk Shoke vigorously trying to get them off his head, he flew higher, he was to smack them against the wall.
They had a better idea, Kailani took his left eye while Athena took the right eye, they stabbed their way to his eyes, till they dug their swords into his eyes, Druk cried out, " there is no compassion left" Kailani said.
Druk was falling back down to the floor, the impact will affect them greatly, they need to get to his heart and make him fall down on his back, not his chest, and that can only be possible if they regulate him, Athena climbed back to his head and held onto his horn.
She held him firm then made an attempt to jump down, it was a weird move because she is lightweight compared to druk, but surprisingly he succumbed to her actions he was bent over with Athena holding her sword firmly on his eyes.
As druk was about to hit the floor kailani jumped down, then druk fell on his back, it was really a painful fight, druk made a shrieking sound which was painful to the ear, Athena quickly took her sword out of his eyes then hurried to his already exposed heart.
Kailani was way ahead of her, she was already on top, druk tried resisting but he was too weak, " should we do this together" Athena asked as she grinned childishly, there is no better happiness than the happiness that comes with Victory.
They stabbed druk together. I was blinded by the light emitting from his exposed heart, but it was nothing compared to the light emitting from my body. Why?
