Chapter 60.

The room was so silent that even Mr Anderson who was still with his son upstairs thought that his children had left.

"Let us go and start the meeting"

He told his son as he helped Andrew up and they both walked down to meet others looking at each other.

Offending Mirabel was not exactly what they wanted at the time and they didn't want to get into her black book.

She was one person that would never stop talking about the hurt done to her and she would want to retaliate.

She loves to insult but when jsukted she would almost be close to tears.

Her husband sensed her anger forming up that he had to change the topic before the silence in the room consumed them.

"Who knows why we are here?

He asked facing the twin.

"I do. Answered Peter.

"Dad wants to share his properties"

He said and that earned his brother Paul a loud laugh that was called down by the clearing of throat done by their father.

They all watched as he decended the stairs with Andrew.

"I should have known Andrew was already inside"

Peter whispered to Paul who was sitting close to him since after the fight.

Every one stood up and greeted Mr Anderson by bowing their heads low and he tapped each back saying a word of blessing on each.

Before he sat he looked at Peter .

"So you are already planning to get my properties?

Peter didn't know how to respond because that wasn't really what he wanted to say but he just wanted to make them laugh.

He bowed his head and nodded in a way to say No.

The house was so quiet that even their breath couldn't be heard.

It felt like everyone stopped breathing.

Mirabel that had been tapping her thighs since she came in was also still.

That was the sort of respect Mr Anderson commands.

He was a no nonsense person and he wouldn't mind getting his cane and flogging any of his children that misbehaves.

Even the wives married to them have had their own share of his wrath before. Though he never flogs the women he would always punish them by making them stay with him for a week doing the chores of the maid.

No one loves to get into trouble with him and now that the silence in the room reminded Anna what sort of a man he was, she wished to run away immediately.

If he ever finds out what she had done in secret with her  supposed gynecologist, it would be disastrous. That is if they will ever forgive her.

He looked at everyone and cleared his throat before talking.

"Well my children, you know I have always promoted love in this family. I have never done anything that should make any of you think I love you any less than the other and that is how I want you all to love each other.

"I think Dad is sick"

Paul whispered to Paul with his hands covering his mouth.

Mr Anderson saw him and eyed him before talking.

"Kneel down Paul!
