Chapter 54

There were about three speed boat parked beside each of the yachts. I ran towards the stairs that lead to the sea bank to admire the view. When I turned back, I saw Bennett’s Parents standing beside him but no Nicky, where did she go?

"Right here" I heard her reply from my left, I turned to her, she was staring at the sea. I smiled at her.

"It's beautiful, isn't it? My world" she asked.

"You must be missing it so much" I asked.

She laughed a little and replied "I am"

"It's really beautiful" we turned to see the owner of the voice, it was Bennett's mum, Penny. We smiled at her, she smiled back and Potter our shoulders.

"I should go, so that I can come early" Nicky stated.

Bennett and his father came closer.

"Be careful" Bennett instructed Nicky.

She nodded. She dropped her legs into the water and reached for the amulet on her neck, she removed it and handed it over to me. Her legs gently transformed into her shinning blue tail - it was shining like a blue diamond under the morning sun. I suddenly wished I have a tail. Everyone laughed at me.

Seriously can't I have some privacy around this people? They laughed again.

Nicky jumped with force into the glassy sea, if I were the one, I would have drowned. She swam around for some minutes, then she waved at us and jumped in again, this time I didn't see any sign of her - I guess she has gone down to Oceania.

We stood there looking at the sea as if it stole one of our own. Then we heard a voice that brought us back to reality. It was Lenny.

"What if she decides not to come back?" She asked.

"She will, let's go in and wait for her" the Alpha stated.

He walked out, his wife or mate or whatever they call it followed him. Lenny stared at the sea then she glared at me before she walked out.

"I don't think she likes me" I complained to Bennett.

"She's just trying to get accustomed to you" he replied.

We walked back to the bar. We sat by a small round table. I looked around the bar, some tables were occupied by some men and very nice looking ladies.

looking at them, they all look natural like normal human beings but now I know better, not every normal person is actually normal, what they are made of is much bigger than the human flesh they are showing us

Bennettbusted into laughter.

"Stop reading my mind Bennett, I’m gonna kick you" I fired at him.

He continued laughing. I really miss Nicky. I looked at her amulet.

"If I wear this amulet, will my legs transform into a tail?" I asked Bennett.

"You never know what you can do unless you try" he stated.

"Are you saying that I can actually transform if I wear it" I asked again to be sure.

He shrugged and replied "maybe".
