Lanre scoffed. She wanted to say something but felt her mouth was too dry, and her throat suddenly felt like it has not seen water for ages. She turned her face to the side. She looked down.
“This sexual attraction, it still exist after all”. K muttered. Lanre bit her lips. Then she nodded her head. She did it continuously that K could not phantom what she was thinking. Then she struggled again to free herself of his grip.
K thought he could no longer hold back his desire for her anymore. It has suddenly beclouded him. He felt overwhelmed, too excited to let her slide. He forced his lips into her lips.
“Aunty!” That was Chidinma’s voice. K grunted. He had totally forgotten that there was a teenager in the house. He pushed Lanre aside and walked away. Lanre just stood not knowing what to think at this point. Her head was totally empty.
“I was afraid he will hurt you, so I came. If he is going to hurt you, I thought he should hurt me first”. Chidinma said. Lanre fought back her tears. And without saying anything to Chidinma, Lanre went to her room. She locked the door behind and laid on her bed. She looked so fragile, she was like a young plant that could easily break if mishandled.
“Kehinde what are you doing? What do you intend to gain by coming to my house? What do you expect me to feel like after kissing me? What are you thinking? Should I fight for you?” Lanre kept asking this questions in her head. Her room must have been the most quiet place for her noisy head. It was a total chaos inside her head.
Meanwhile K left Lanre’s place. He had not expected he would actually kiss her at this point. He did want to, but he thought he could help it. Somehow, that girl controls his mind. So he thought. He kept thinking of the possibilities of having Lanre. Then he a thought came into his head and he began to laugh. One could say he was excited or probably surprised, Lanre did not struggle in his mouth. She had actually let him kissed her. Even though he forced his lips on hers, she did not make any effort to push him away.
Suddenly he stopped. It began to scare him, he was too happy for his liking. Does she really has the better of him? Is it true, that he is in love? Has he then now become a fool for love? He didn’t even care about her life before going to her place. Then it hits him to realisation, he would need to protect Lanre now. He has to protect her from his father.
“Damn it! F**K! Kehinde kini o jẹ aṣiṣe pẹlu rẹ (What is wrong with you)?” K asked himself. He did not think things through before letting Christian’s challenge get to him. Now Lanre’s life is in danger. And he barely has a plan drawn out to protect her.
