I Said The Wrong Things

Ify told Anita it was none of her business whether or not her father is in support of her getting married to K or not. Anita smirked. Then she hugged Ify and whispered into her ears.

“Lanre will take him away from you! I will make sure of that”. Anita said. Ify could not understand Anita’s enmity with her. If there is someone Anita should be supporting, it was her, her cousin and not Lanre. She became extremely angry with Anita. If her anger at Anita for blackmailing her and making Lanre to say was at seventy percent, then now her anger has reached a hundred percent.

…………….

Over at K’s room, Lanre lied down on the bed and asked K to give her a massage.

“I need a massage”. She said to him. K wondered if he should be happy or feeling uneasy about this whole thing. He felt like his feelings was in the middle of a hole about to drop down. He got closer to her where she laid on the bed reaching his hand out to her.

“What are you doing? Do you intend to massage me without a massage oil? Check my bag, you will see a small bottle. Use that for the massage”. Lanre said to K. He did as she had instructed. He got the oil from her bag. He helped her off her clothes leaving her panties on her. Aside from that, she was without clothes. She laid on the bed and let K massage on her back. Tonight, he was being her masseur.

Lanre regrets her decision the moment his fingers traced their way down her spines. She bit her lips and closed her eyes. Her toes all curled up. K noticed her reaction, but he ignored. He was not good at massage but he was trying to do the best he could. The more his hands came in contact with her body, the more he could no longer ignore how her body responded to him.

“I’m beginning to doubt you asked for a massage and not something more”. K said to her after minutes of silence.

“And I doubt you are doing what I asked for. You are literally raping me with your fingers”. Lanre regretted it the moment those words left her mouth especially the last part.

“You got me wrapped around yours. What do you expect me to do?” He asked. She stood up and dressed up telling him she needed to eat something. K stopped her from living.

“I know I said the wrong things. But can you wait for me? I will figure things out somehow and eventually leave Ify. We could get married and we will have each other”. K said.

“Dreams they say, is for women. Let the women do the dreaming Kehinde. They have the power to make it reality”. Lanre said to him. K told her that that does not answer his question. Lanre clicked her tongue. She told him she was not taught patience in school.
