BLEEDING LESION 2

Faith walked out of the restaurant and realized she had been holding her breath. She drew in a long breath and let out a sob. She staggered to her car and leaned on it, placing her arm on the car and placing her head on her arm. She couldn't control herself now, it was too much for her to bear. Her head was banging, her heart threatened to fall out, her chest was rising and falling in uncontrollable pants, plus her stomach. At that moment, she had two cravings, she wanted alcohol to drink herself to stupor and she wanted Maalox to quench her stomach that was on fire.

"Hey," someone called her from behind. She recognised the voice.

She could recognize it anywhere, anytime. She spun around to see Noah, standing there alone, staring at her.

"Noah," she called, but it only came out as a whisper. Tears strolled down her eyes.

          "Faith, are you stalking me?"

"What? No! I was here before you came in."

"You look like a mess, Faith. Go home and rest."

"Noah...it's been just a few days and you replaced us."

"Faith, please not now. You should go home."

"No! You should tell me what I did wrong!" Faith yelled now and went and hit his chest.

"I'm sorry, Faith but you need to get a grip on yourself, you don't want people seeing you this way."

"It's that all that matters to you? What? Are you like embarrassed if people see us together?"

        "You're drunk."

"To hell with you! I'm not drunk!" Faith pointed a finger to his face. "Damn you! Damn you Noah!" she hauled the takeaway food at him.

It hit his chest and the cream spilled, leaving a stain there. He gently wiped the stain away and held Faith who was making an attempt to hit him more. He held her firmly, while she wriggled to be free. Faith didn't know how he managed to get her car keys, but he opened the car and made her go in. A few people who were passing looked their way, but they all minded their businesses.

"Is everything alright here? Babe?" a female voice asked from behind Noah. It was the lady that Noah had come in with.

Noah turned immediately. "Hey, babe. She was kind of drunk and messing herself up, I had to put her in her car..."

"I'm not drunk!" Faith yelled. "You're a cruel son-of-a-bitch Noah! You would pay for this!"

The lady raised an eyebrow at Noah. Noah held her shoulders.

"Don't listen to her babe, she is just heartbroken and drunk."

"Is she sober enough to drive then?" the lady asked.

"I can drive myself! I don't need your sick help!"

"Whoa!" the woman exclaimed and raised her arms in surrender.

"Just get out of my sight," Faith snarled.

"I think we should leave now, babe," Noah said, trying to lead the woman away, but the woman has a concerned look on her face.

"Do you think she can drive in that state?"

"I believe she would find a way, she came here on her own."

"Maybe, we should call a cab to pick her up tonight, when she is sober enough tomorrow, she would come get her car."

"I'm fine! You go in there with your son-of-a-bitch lover and leave me alone!" Faith yelled.

Noah dragged the woman he had come with and they started back towards the bar. Faith watched them as they receded. She was a pretty face. Perfect face, perfect eyes, perfect brows and perfectly curved lips. She was sophisticated too, in a simple but classy red dress. She also had curves in the right places. She had on a make-up that had complimented her beauty.

She had never given thought of what she wore around Noah, even when they went on dates. She have always been the jeans and t-shirt type, she wasn't really into fashion. It was Nora that was the fashion queen. Was this why Noah had left her?
