ARE YOU JEALOUS?

She stopped abruptly when he came and stood in front of her. She stared at him with flared eyes.

"I'll call you later," he said on the phone, his eyes never leaving hers. He removed the phone from his ear.

She wondered if he just got off the phone with Jennifer, she eyed him. "What do you want?"

He was regarding her with a smirk. "Do you work?" he asked.

She sighed and started to her room. Was this why he was calling her?

     "I'm not done here."

"What more do you want? Go taunt your girlfriend please leave me alone," Faith said without knowing. When she realized herself, her eyes widened and she looked sharply at him.

His eyes, a pool of green, gleamed, clouded with unbelief. He held his mouth. "Who told you about her? Oh, I see your friends has done that already and that is what I wanted to tell you. Wait, are you jealous?"

"Tsk," she eyed him and looked away. 'Jealous of what? If you're done, let me go." She started towards her room.

"I'll be breaking the rule number six, because I'll be bringing her here, in fact, my house practically becomes hers, so please make her as comfortable as possible."

She halted and turned yo him. "First, whatever. Second, what's my business with her comfortability? I'm a busy woman, I don't have that kind of time."

"Aha, that brings me to the question. Are you working?"

"It's none of your business." She went in and shut the door.

He looked at the shut door, his drink in one hand, his hand in one pocket. He shook his head and smiled. "Why was she so cute?" he muttered and went to sit by the couch.

Faith made sure she bolted the door, before she went and fell on the bed. He could be something else. He was not even rich or a CEO, yet he was so arrogant.

"Wait, are you jealous? Tsk?" she mimicked and rolled her eyes. "Who does he think he is?" She stood from the bed, she needed to start typing in her inspiration and she needed to design her fliers and also create a video for advertisement. Thank goodness, she had gone for those classes.

She went and took out a little suitcase, there was where she kept all her valuables, her writing materials and her diary. She unlocked the suitcase and looked at the contents. Different types of notepads. She took out her diary where she had written so much. It's been quite a while since she wrote in that diary.

Since Noah broke her heart, she had not even found the time to write in there. She opened it and saw what she had written about her mother, she flipped the pages, glancing through the write ups for father, then her brother Joshua. She wondered where he was right now, was he feeding well? She could blame her dad for this huge gap between she and her brother. They used to be best of friends growing up.

She flipped over the pages and stopped at the page, where she had written out how her life would turn out to be. She had had written that she would get married by twenty-five. She didn't realize that she was crying until a lone tear trekked down her cheek. She quickly wiped it away. She needed a lot of happiness in her life.
