YOU LOOK PERFECT TONIGHT

Once she was done looking at the diary, she decided to go tell her diary that Noah had crushed her heart again and she remembered that she still had some bottles of alcohol in her cabinet. She slowly stood up from bed and pulled her work clothes. She had planned out her life so perfectly and it was going that way that she felt she had lost all directions as Noah broke her heart.

She removed the shirt she wore and her suit pants and neatly hung them on the hanger in her closet. She removed her bra and carefully hung it in her closet, then she opened the first drawer in the chest and took out a red camisole, pulled over her head and wore a flowery design short. She tied up her hair and started for the kitchen. She took her laptop, her necessary materials and started for the living room.

Her printer was in the living room. She had set up a little office there at her own part of the living room. The only place they shared together was the dining. She had even bought, her 55 inches LED plasma TV. The day she had brought it to the house and called someone to mount it. Her roommate had looked at her in utter disbelief and awe. But she had not cared, she had her own interests and likes and she had seen the kind of useless shows he watches.

She took her stuffs to the kitchen and turned on the lights, dropped her laptop and other things on the kitchen table and went over to her cabinet and took out two bottles of drink. Her doctor's face came to her mind, but she ignored it and took a shot from the cabinet, rinsed it and took to the table. She just had to go to her drug cabinet in the room, get the Maalox liquid and keep it closer.

She left the kitchen and went into her room, took out the bottle and went back to the kitchen. She kept it somewhere near her and poured the first shot of alcohol. She took out her phone and earpiece, plugged the earpiece to her ears and turned on the music. Ed Sheeran's 'Perfect'. It had been his favourite song and she could see his face singing those beautiful lyrics to her.

Those times, she had felt he sang it better than Ed Sheeran himself. The way those lyrics flowed from his mouth, the look he always had in his eyes whenever he was singing it got her. The passionate kiss he would always give her whenever he was done singing. She had found those times the peak of her love life. She wondered if he was singing it to that new woman now. She opened her diary and started writing. As she wrote, she kept picturing his face, especially when he says:

'When you said you looked a mess

I whispered underneath my breath, you heard it

         Darling you look perfect tonight...

And most times, he was always leaning very close to her and whispering those parts in her ears. She closed her eyes and raised her head up, trying to contain the pain she was feeling in her heart at that moment.
