"This morning's rain... is lighter than yesterday. Mom thinks... the weather will be clear... before the Festival."
While saying that, Cassia stretched out her right arm, passing the roof of the balcony. Clear droplets of rain fall gently on her palm. Her gaze was drawn to the early morning sky.
"Mom, stay warm ah. I don't want you to catch a cold before the festival."
Liliana playfully chided Cassia while draping a shawl on her mother's shoulders. She smiled at her mother before looking at the garden drizzled under the curtain of rain.
Cassia let out a chuckle. Shaking her head, her smile was reflected in her calm gaze.
The mother and daughter watched how the beautiful yard was enveloped in the mist. The view reminded them of the magical garden they often saw in fairy tales.
Not far from the balcony of the annex, the cat topiaries also were blanketed by the rain. The pleasant earthy scent rose in the air, bringing the smell of the rain.
