36.3 Journey

Different time, huh. Maybe that was when they were still together without knowing all about this Zahler Nenner business. Now that I thought about it, it kind of didn't make sense as to how these two got separated in the first place. If I was understanding things correctly, if they were as tough as nails even back then, surely they would've run away as soon as they learned that Anna was getting shipped off to the nearest approximation to a sweatshop instead of letting it happen. They hadn't talked much about their family too. Maybe that was the reason?

 

Too many questions, too much respect for me to even try and ask them about it. I mean, why should I know? It wasn't my business. Still... "Pre-separation then. Got it."
