Chapter Twenty-Nine:Give Me A Sign, Son.

Country A, Mainland.

All Vanessa did throughout the whole ride back home, was to throw hateful glares at him. His curious eyes doing the privilege of colliding with hers through the mirror.

Spoiled brat!

He cursed lowly under his breath, he stopped looking at the mirror  since he didn't want to give the silly girl the  privilege, to think that he's interested in her mind games.

His escape through all these would be giving her zero attention, luckily that would get her to realize that she's been doing nothing, but playing her silly games herself.

Afterall, he's nothing but a guard who worked for her dad. She's off limits, that's the only thing protecting him from laying her across his lap, and spanking her till her ass is beetroot red to his satisfaction.

That would teach her a lesson not to mess with every nigga she see out there, but seriously, Miguel. A spanking?

His conscience asked, but it's not like he's thinking of actually doing that. Vanessa doesn't belong in his world, neither does he too.

He's a dangerous man, with hands reeking of thousands of bloods that he's the one who took that privilege off anyone that messed with him, and the family.

Imagining her spread over his lap, and him spanking her ass was mainly for his whores, and it's all for his enjoyment.

Yeah?

He's a cold blooded sadist, and his boss, her father wouldn't like it one bit that he mistakenly seems interested in his daughter, heck! She would break in his hand before he tried anything with her.

He couldn't lie, she's one pretty ass lady but a child in his eyes. There's never going to be any time, he would think past that, to think of her as a woman.

He had to keep everything strictly business, and business it was. Until they arrived at the family house with everyone coming down from the car, but she stayed rooted  where she sat, this time with a  glass on her face, a smug smirk hanging loosely on the edge of her lips.

He glanced at her governess, chatting with her with his eyes on what exactly she wanted, but as usual Jane couldn't give him the answer he wanted.

Hence, that made him work over and opened the car door, with his hands tightly clenching it. He was losing his cool with this girl, and she's refusing to learn her lesson.

So he debated on what exactly to do with her, but realized that there was nothing more she loved, than seeking his attention and that he did give her, by giving his hand out, which she took instantly before hopping off the car, like some princess.

"It took you so long, so unmanly," She cursed under her breath, while she walked beside him, but he said nothing but walked with her into the building.

All he needed was a day free of Vanessa Ivanov, and he's going to do everything possible for his boss to get someone in charge of her safety, because he can't do this anymore!

A loud pop went off the instant the door opened, the lights came on and there stood her dad, mother and the few maids and guards that were present, clapping with warm smiles on their faces at the sight of their princess.

"Welcome home, sunshine." Jason said, coming closer to her while holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands.

At first Miguel had expected her to throw a fit, about why her father lied about picking her up yesterday, but she surprised him by running into his arms happily.

"Daddy, gosh. I have missed you." She laughed, and Miguel couldn't lie. Her laugh was beautiful, this was the first time he has seen her so serious and not being the brat she is.

She's two faced.

Dangerous much?

Definitely!

"I have missed you two, sweetheart."Jason added, cupping her face before kissing her cheeks but she moved away from his embrace quickly, her mood changing instantly to how exactly he knew her.

"No, you didn't, you tricked me." she denied, moving away from him and walking to her mother, who hasn't said a word. It seems as if she's in a trance, as if it was not real that her daughter was here.

"But thanks for the flower anyway," she mugged him afterwards, before hugging her mother, taking the woman by surprise.

"Hey big Momma, how have you been?" She asked, cupping her face and pecking her cheeks.

"Vanessa, you are finally here. It's too good to be a dream. My baby is here." Marilyn cried, touching her face.

Jason stood besides Miguel, giving both mother and daughter the space they needed, while the maid and guards did the same too, going about their duties.

The only prayer Jason had was that Marilyn doesn't act up, and give their daughter a scare. She doesn't know that she's not feeling too good.

"Of course mother, I'm home and I'm not leaving you again. Not anymore." Vanessa said, a tear gliding down her face while she hugged her mother.

"Come on, let me hear you tell me all about your stay there in Paris," Marilyn dragged her over to the nearest couch, as they soon engaged in a conversation forgetting about the rest that watched both mother, and daughter talking.

It broke Jason's heart that his son wasn't here to see this, his sister had finally grown up into a loving woman.

He would be so happy to witness this, and he wished for the very first time that if it was actually true that Adrik was somehow in this house, watching this right now.

He hoped that if Marilyn isn't hallucinating, but all long seeing Adrik, maybe this was the time to prove it.

Give me a sign, son.

But heck! No sign.

Have you not gone crazy Jason? Marilyn is only hallucinating.

He mumbled to himself, watching Vanessa laugh at something her mother said, before she looked over at him.

"Come on," She said to him, breaking him out of his trance with her hand stretched out to him.

Adrik is dead, and there's no coming back. But he would live the rest of his days, loving and protecting his family till his last breath.

But that doesn't include that Alex Singh is free, nah! The revenge still leaves on!
