Lucius, who was still within Genesis, was unaware of the grand events that were taking place in the realms beyond.

He had currently just gone through a minor enlightenment and a major increase in power.

'Just how much did the lightning change my pillars? The overall information should still be the same but my strength is…'

He waved his hand a small ball of fire appeared within his hands.

He used his chakra to fuel it and the flame immediately turned white.

He increased the flow of energy within the fireball and the flame intensified till it became totally transparent.

The reality around him completely melted, as it seemed to be corporeal, from the flame's power.

'A regular flame fueled by my essence is capable of rivaling a Grand Law? How does that make any sense?!'

Being able to breach the realm of logic and burn reality like this was something only fundamental forces like laws and divinities could do but a simple spell of his could rival such power.

'Just how powerful will my own fundamental forces be when I reach such realms?'

The prospects of such a future excited Lucius as a large smile appeared on his face. He couldn't wait to face geniuses that stood at his level within the academies. He knew his powers and foundation were godly but he'd be a fool to think he was the only one with such blessings.

Getting back on track, Lucius retracted his lightning and decided to inspect his meridian pathways.

Meridian pathways were created when a person's soul resonated with a natural phenomenon and cycle of existence. Most people would awaken regular meridians created after phenomena such as flowing water or the growth of plants.

Others could awaken meridian pathways based on mightier concepts like the passing of time, the cycle that is life and death, the passing of seasons, or even the pursuit of happiness.

Such pathways based on more abstract concepts were considered to be monstrous as they granted unimaginable abilities to the person. They were so powerful they could make up for any other areas where they might be lacking.

For example, the Immortal rank pathway, Fleeting Time, gave the cultivator an unrivaled affinity with space and time attributes as well as multiple abilities relayed to the passing of time. Such users could accelerate or decelerate the growth and development of anything.

The most powerful users of the fleeting time meridian pathways could simply fuse with a future version of themselves that had achieved a higher cultivation realm or even use their abilities to delay an incoming attack while simultaneously speeding theirs up.

Meridian pathways could also allow cultivators to gain acquired essences, essences that come directly from the meridians themselves and not the soul. Acquired essence is much weaker than innate essence and cannot even be compared to it but still had its advantages.

Users of the Fleeting time meridians could be granted an essence known as 'Lesser Kairos' essence that had properties related to time and space.

Meridian pathways also increased cultivation speed and efficiency on top of the fact that they gave a natural strength boost in both the spiritual and physical.

All in all, meridian pathways were one of the most important parts of cultivation.

There was a third category though, one made for absolute geniuses. Pathways modeled after the fundamental truths that made up existence. Such pathways were beyond terrifying as even in their early stages they could allow simple mortals to rival gods and immortals.

Lucius looked at the pathways that stretched from his body to his soul and finally to his primal land which was sealed for the moment.

As long as his primal land wasn't destroyed none of his pillars nor abilities could be damaged or stolen. Destroying a Primal land of his grade and rank was absolutely impossible so Lucius was safe unless he willingly allowed access to it.

Lucius had awakened a Meridian pathway known as the Dual-path of Khaos and Origin.

'I've never heard of this pathway, let's see what It does.'

He used his Innate Khaos essence and flowed it through his pathways.

His pathways felt the familiar essence and an unexpected change happened once again.

From his 7 souls, an 8th soul appeared. This soul quickly devoured the infinite essence the other souls held and rapidly grew in strength. Soon it reached its level of power.

The 8th soul exploded in power and an eighth type of innate essence was birthed within Lucius.

'Origin Essence?'

The abundant amount of Origin and Khaos Essence he had flooded his meridians and they massively grew in size.

His power increased by leaps and bounds as he felt like a God while his meridians were active. He hadn't awakened any of his meridian's abilities but this much was already worth it for him. When he entered the second great realm, their ability would truly shine.

His energies could reach any part of his body in an instant and he could feel the pathways exponentially boost their potency. His Meridian pathways also perfectly complemented his runic pathways.

'The surprises just don't end, do they? I've never heard of a Meridian set being able to birth an Innate essence and create a new soul. The closest thing I've seen is the formation of a pseudo Essence heart.'

His smile had turned into a devilish grin as he imagined his future possibilities.

'Alright let's check my last pillar, I can't stay here all day.'

Without wasting time, he clicked on his Pillar of Truth's results.

His eyes released a light glow as if to confirm his thoughts.

He clicked on the available information about his pupils.

•The user can gaze at all the possibilities that could've been and what is within creation and recreate it with utter ease.

•These Pupils give unmatched comprehension to their users as in the later realms turn the user into an unrivaled monster.

•These are the only things known about the Pupils of Renaissance as only 3 beings previously held it. No one has ever been able to push these pupils to their peak so very little is known about their peak.

Lucius was left speechless by this description. He knew his pupils were powerful but he didn't expect them to be this powerful and mysterious.

'No one has been able to push them to their maturation? I guess I'll be the first then.'

'Recreate what could've been and what is? Let's try it.'

His hand stretched out and a tiny ball of spiritual essence appeared in his palm.

He activated his pupils and the ball of essence quickly became denser and purer.

Thousands of runes surrounded the ball of energy as incredible pressure descended upon the Reizon house.

The ancestors outside of Lumium's room had only been receiving surprise after surprise.

Just a few minutes ago they felt a force rivaling the Grand Dao of flames coming from their master. At this point they thought nothing could shock them more but what they felt left them beyond speechless.

"Tell me my sense aren't dysfunctional? Is that…"

"Spiritual Quintessence."

'Not bad. I can probably do much more with this ability but I have to explore it more.'

He dispersed the Spiritual Quintessence within his palms and went back to his results.

'I won't have access to my Origin spirits and my runic heritage until I awaken my Primal Land.'

"Overall I'm pretty happy with the results. Now I have to reach the peak of the first Great realm before I get to the academy."

Lucius waved his hands and all the details about his awakening were deleted, no one else would be able to gaze at them.

He vanished and reappeared outside the room where all the ancestors were waiting for him.

He started walking towards his chambers and the ancestors silently followed behind.

"Patriarch, were you satisfied with your results?" asked ancestor Layla with a large smile on her face.

Lucius looked at her for a few seconds before he answered with a smile and replied.

"Yes, it was pretty good. I'm sure you've seen the general results."

"Yes, Patriarch. We are all very happy and proud at the moment. If you do not mind me asking, what are your plans for now? You have 3 free years until you have to leave, right?" Curiously asked ancestor Layla.

Lucius took a few minutes to think as they continued to walk toward his chambers.

Life within the Underground Reizon was calm and peaceful as you could see various people tending to flowers or quietly taking care of their affairs. Lucius really liked this calm and well-put-together atmosphere.

They arrived in front of his chambers and he turned around.

"I'll be training here for the next few years. It'll also be a good opportunity for me to familiarize myself with you guys and the other members of the house."
