　　I grinned as I realized Annie was still shy around boys. Even with her own boyfriend, she seemed awkward.


　　"So, how'd you two meet?" I asked her to break the tension.


　　Annie blushed slightly and looked down at her plate before answering, "We actually met at the beach."


　　"Oh really? And how long you've been together?" I pried. She should've told me about him instead of leaving me in the dark. Did she think I'd try to ruin her relationship with James?


　　I guess I couldn't blame her for thinking that since I sort of tried to ruin things between her and Mike.


　　Annie looked up at me hesitantly, sensing my change in tone. "We've been together for about six months now," she replied softly.


　　"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pry. I'm happy for you and James, really."


　　Annie smiled weakly, "It's okay. I'm just still getting used to talking about our relationship with other people."
