Each of the cabins were separated by several square miles of open property. Some of them were winter properties for locals while others were rented out to anyone who could afford it. Much of the property in the Campgrounds was considered public property, save for a few select areas which usually have clear signs warning against trespassing or private property. With the rain stuttering on and off it made the short walk between each property that more difficult as the icy chill began to cut into the face and crawl deep into the bone.
"So what's the plan?" Nate asked. "We talked about finding Mr. Holland's son at the Reservation, but that means we have to head towards Applewood."
Jon understood what Nathan was getting at. Why the detour?
"You heard Mr. Randall. They don't trust outsiders. He's gunna help us to the Reservation but dropping off supplies with his family came first."
Nikki walked beside Mr. Holland, twisting up her face in an exaggerated expression.
