Symphony of the Night, Part 2

Note: I changed the previous chapter. I highly recommend you read it first before reading this one. Also, enjoy the ending. ;P

'He-he-he,' came the evil laugh. 'Done in by a leech… pathetic…'

Then there came a howl that reverberated all around me, and the walls of blood that covered my vision shattered. Suddenly, I was back, my mind my own again, with my hands twitching to life.

"Vargr," I snapped.

In my head, I knew that I'd been saved yet again by my mortal enemy, and that stung even worse than the vampire's bite on my neck.

"Get off!" I growled.

The beast inside of me growled too. 'Grr~~rr!'

For the first time, I was glad I was sharing headspace with a savage beast, although I still wasn't keen on hearing my sire—I wasn't sure if that's what wolves called their makers too—inside my head. Still, it wasn't clear if it was Fenrisúlfr and not my fractured mind that was taunting me from the shadows.
