"I will forever remember the mercy the Crusaders showed to me and my friends!"
Theo bowed deeply as he spoke those words.
After forcing Axel's hand a bit, showcasing his gratitude was the least he could do… Unless he wanted to antagonize the man for no reason whatsoever.
And just like Theo proved back in the first few days of his life in this world, bending a knee or lowering his head was nothing more but a physical exercise to him.
"There is nothing for you to thank us or the Crusaders as a whole for," the judge that gave out the verdict spoke. "No one is showing mercy or doing you any favors for you to thank them for. You proved that girl's innocence and thus she was freed from her charges," he continued.
The judge then stepped back to his usual spot behind and to the side of the speaker.
