Excerpt: 

“ENOUGH!” I roar in my Alpha tone. “You will not put your hands on me! YOU….you will be the one to submit!” All of the waiters in the room dropped to their knees and bare their necks. I know I am a strong Alpha and try not to use my tone unless absolutely necessary. Even some of the Alphas watching have trouble remaining in their seats since I am easily stronger than many.

Mates: The Beginning

After Frozen, we watched two more movies that Brooklyn enjoyed and had dinner. It was getting late, and Brooklyn was wondering where her father was. I was too because I hadn’t seen him in a few hours. “Brooklyn?” I say after watching her go to and from her room and the living room for the past few minutes. She kept going back and forth to see if she could see her father walk in. Brooklyn looked at me when I said her name. “Why don’t I take you to see your god parents and then I will go look for your dad.” 


“Okay, thank you.” She responded, putting her hand in mine as we walked out the door. I head upstairs with Brooklyn and see Autumn heading down. 


“Well I was hoping to leave Brooklyn with you so I could look for her dad. We have been waiting for him to come back for a while and we are getting a bit worried.” Autumn looks at Brooklyn lovingly and reaches her hand out to her.
