Kehlani Master: woman, daughter, mate.....ALPHA

Jayden Weathers: man, father, mate...Beta

Jayden has been through a lot, and the result is his adorable 5-year-old. Will his mate accept her, or will he continue to be alone?

Excerpt: 

“ENOUGH!” I roar in my Alpha tone. “You will not put your hands on me! YOU….you will be the one to submit!” All of the waiters in the room dropped to their knees and bare their necks. I know I am a strong Alpha and try not to use my tone unless absolutely necessary. Even some of the Alphas watching have trouble remaining in their seats since I am easily stronger than many.

Mates: The Beginning

Jayden leaves me to change quickly, and we head to the training area together. Melanie, Jax, and a few top warriors are already there. We got through the warm-up quickly and started to pair off for sparing. I usually spar with Jax, and we can keep each other going. I always win, but Jax gets a really good workout. 


Before I could suggest that Jax and I spar, Jayden steps up to me. “Spar with me.” I bend my head to the side and look at him. “Come on, beautiful. He’s a Beta, and so am I. You don’t know my moves and vice versa. I think it would be good practice.” Jayden is making sense, though I’m wary of sparring against my mate. I nod in agreement, and we step into a ring. We know that battles don’t occur in designated rings, but we like to set them up to keep those sparring in specific areas rather than have them all over each other. 


Everyone else has already started sparing, just leaving Jayden and me. “Don’t hold back, lover,” I say to him with a wink.
