Surprise

The ride back home was extremely silent. No one said a word to the other. Alexander Sterling was pissed, while Cindy Richards did not feel like speaking to him either, so both of them let the silence play out until they got home.

Once inside the house, Cindy Richards quickly walked to her room, but before she could enter, she turned around to face Alexander Sterling, who had just come into the hallway.

"Thank you for saving me today. I will repay you one day," she said.

After that, she quickly locked herself inside her room and leaned on the door.

Outside, Alexander Sterling stared at the closed door for a good while before he sighed and got inside his own room. He quickly took out his phone and made a call. Once it had been connected, he said these icy words:

"Chen Enterprises, I want it gone by tonight!"

Victor Chen had publicly humiliated his own wife and even harbored the thought of sleeping with her. Just that word alone made Alexander Sterling go crazy with madness.

"How dare he!"

The man on the phone suddenly chuckled, "I thought you were calling because you were worried about me, but it seems…"

Alexander Sterling did not have the patience to deal with him, "Leftie can do it if you can't!"

He was threatening. The man on the other side sighed deeply and then chuckled, "No need, I am on it, boss!"

The call was quickly cut off after that!

Alexander Sterling sat on the bed and looked at the ceiling. He was considered a genius by many, but he was never able to fathom what was going on inside Cindy Richards's head. Every time, she gave him a new surprise.

They were married, but she just told him that she would repay him later?

She always kept her distance from him, and he was starting to think that maybe when she kissed him it was not out of like for him but rather…pity.

In the morning, Cindy Richards woke up to surprising news—the Chen Enterprises had been completely ousted from the capital!

The winds of change had swept through, carrying away the once-dominant force. As the news spread like wildfire, it brought with it a revelation that left Cindy Richards wide-eyed.

Adding a layer of poetic justice to the swift turn of events, a video surfaced showcasing Victor Chen and his lackeys in an embarrassing display, imitating the very antics that had once defined their reign in the club.

Someone had recorded the video and posted it online.

Cindy Richards remembered this scene as it was when Alexander Sterling asked Victor Chen to play out what they had been doing to her.

Now that she was seeing the footage, she became very uneasy, and disgust filled her heart. Victor Chen was really a bad man!

The footage circulated rapidly, and the virtual realm echoed with laughter and mocking comments from amused onlookers.

Victor Chen, once a towering figure and notorious bully, now found himself at the receiving end of widespread amusement and spectacle. The online community became a buzzing hive of commentary, and many sighed with relief at the comeuppance of the once-feared Chen Enterprises.

Amidst the digital chatter, @bloomsday contributed a succinct but powerful comment: "They say that every dog has its day, and I did not believe it until I saw Victor Chen in such a state! He deserves everything that is happening to him!"

Many women had been abused by Victor Chen, and many of them recounted their stories. Some of them even wrote about their experiences.

Many women, who had long suffered in silence, found the courage to share their harrowing experiences of abuse at the hands of Victor Chen.

Their stories unfolded like chapters in a collective narrative, revealing the dark underbelly of Victor Chen's reign of intimidation. Some chose to write about their ordeals, pouring out their pain and recounting the details that had been buried deep within their hearts for far too long. These narratives painted a vivid picture of the systemic abuse that had permeated Victor Chen's sphere of influence.

Cindy Richards read through all the comments and sighed. It was such a short amount of time, yet a lot of things had already happened.

There was no need for her to try and figure out who had orchestrated the whole thing.

It had to be Alexander Sterling. He was the only person who had that much power in the country.

She did not know why Alexander Sterling would go through such lengths for a woman he did not even love, but she was still thankful that he did something about it.

Her phone lit up with a call from Olivia Ashford. Her morning voice filtered through. She was both panicked and surprised, "Cindy Richards, did you see what is happening on the internet?"

Cindy Richards rolled on her stomach, "Yeah, I was very surprised."

Olivia Ashford clicked her tongue, "What is there to be surprised about? Victor Chen just got what he deserves!"

Cindy Richards knew this was true, "Yes, and I am glad more people are coming out to say just how nasty of a person he is!"

Some of the stories were very terrifying, and Cindy Richards stopped after she had read a few lines.

Olivia Ashford's voice filtered, "But other than that, why didn't you ever tell me that you had a husband? I feel very betrayed!"

Cindy Richards knew this conversation had to take place at some point. She sighed and recounted the whole story to Olivia Ashford, who listened patiently.

"Oh my God! This should be made into a movie!" Olivia Ashford said as soon as Cindy Richards was done.

Cindy Richards laughed, "Tell me about it!"

Olivia Ashford sighed, "I never imagined that…anyway, you will be completely free after a year so let us go around the world and enjoy ourselves to our heart's content!"

Cindy Richards laughed sadly, "Should we do that?"

A year was going to pass by very fast, and she dreaded those days that she would not be referred to as Alexander Sterling's wife. Just the thought alone made her very sad.

Alexander Sterling had already found someone anyway, so her going around the world was not such a bad idea.

She spoke a bit more to Olivia Ashford before she left to take a shower.

Once she was done preparing herself, she walked out only to find Alexander Sterling had already left. There was a simple breakfast on the table, but other than that, his shadow was nowhere to be seen.

She walked to the table only to find a small note that read, "Eat your breakfast!"
