Chapter 129- Home

"Watch out!" A moment later Gojo threw a Reversal Red toward Haru, he realized that Haru was now back into his human form and levitating mid-air with a girl in his arms.

Haru sighed as he sensed the Reversal Red the moment it was launched and extended his hand and snapped his finger.

The highly potent red orb was obliterated and turned into mist before disappearing.

Haru could sense Sukuna's position a little far from where they were; possibly planning to bounce back once they let down their guard.

'It's best to just leave him alone....' Haru decided, that for Gojo's development, it would be probably best to leave Sukuna to him. Now what would be the conclusion of their battle remains in the hands of Gojo Satoru.

"Haru? Who is he?" Jinah asked while glancing at the person who remained a few feet beneath them and had a pair of eyes that were somewhat familiar.

"He is my teacher, Jinah. I will make it brief so wait for me here."

Jinah nodded; despite wanting to ask Haru's teacher about Haru's past self.

She remained levitating while Haru descended toward his Sensei and stood while facing him. The mixture of emotions swirling in those crystal eyes of Gojo was quite palpable.

Haru was aware of what happened in these ten minutes after he transformed into the creature he once was. In these few minutes, he has gone against two of the strongest sorcerers of this world and has risked the life of every being residing on this planet. That's why Gojo's wariness seemed justifiable.

"I regret what I did, Sensei. I lost control over my powers and...*sigh*"

Hearing his words, and that subtle hint of sorrow in his tone, Gojo relaxed his shoulders a bit before asking, "What was that, anyways? Some kind of short-lived berserk form?"

Something to expect from Gojo Satoru. Even in this situation and after what happened between them, he could casually smile and joke around.

"Something like that. Anyway, I will take my leave now since my presence here might bring consequences to this world."

As Haru said, he possessed magical energy far greater than this whole world, as such, he might just overwhelm this planet and crumble its core. Even now, Haru was concealing his energy to have a conversation with Gojo.

Gojo sighed, hearing such words coming out of his students. There was a time when Satoru used to boast about his 'Strongest' tag all around. But now...

"Regardless of whatever happened, I still consider you as my student. So if you want to eat some kikufuku together, drop by. "

Haru smiled at that before he nodded to his Sensei.

Just as Haru was about to turn away and leave, he remembered something and raised his left hand,

"Oh and as a farewell gift," As those words left Haru's lips, suddenly a behemoth with two swords connected to his hands, levitated out of the rubbles.

With a thin smirk, Haru concluded, "....I will help you with this one."

Clenching his fist, Haru crumbled Mahoraga's body into a scrap ball before turning it into mist.

Gojo chuckled seeing the absurd strength Haru carries but he didn't say anything about it and watched his student departing.

'I wonder if we will ever meet again...'

After rejoining Jinah, Haru returned to his world with a single thought.

The place they appeared was, of course, Haru's room. But what was out of place was the still unconscious body of Haru, lying on the bed

Jinah widened her eyes in shock as she looked to and fro between the Haru standing in front of her and the one on the bed.

Haru chuckled at that as he told her, "This is just my vessel, Jinah. I can make several of them, you know."

Jinah looked at him with her eyes still widened before she asked, "Then...how do you look in reality?"

Haru tilted his head, "Why? Would you not like me anymore if I turned out to be ugly? "

"You know that's not the case. I am just...curious." Jinah lowered her eyes, feeling a little guilty for asking him all of a sudden. From his perception, it must have looked that Jinah cared about his true appearance, but it was not anything like that.

Haru subconsciously read her mind which made him chuckle again.

"Ugh! Stop laughing at my misery!" Jinah pinched his wrist in complaint with her eyes narrowed. She looked nothing but stupid right now.

"Sorry, sorry. It's just, you are so adorable with your trivial concerns that I couldn't help."

A bulge formed on her cheek before she turned her face away from him. However, the way she was clinging to Haru, signifies that she actually wasn't angry.

Regardless, if his girlfriend was angry then it was Haru's responsibility to console her.

Collecting her in his arms, Haru carried the girl to the couch.

Jinah yelped in surprise and hurriedly wrapped her arms around his neck.

Haru settled himself on the couch before positioning Jinah on his lap with her legs resting on the couch and her arms still hugging his neck.

The distance between their faces caused a sudden tension as Haru found himself getting lost in her eyes. All those things which he wanted to tell her and inform her suddenly got jumbled up.

Equally engrossed Jinah kept on looking at him with her eyes a little moistened.

It has been so long since Haru has held her like this and he has felt her presence so close to him. It has been so long for her to experience this heart-racing sensation and this growing excitement. However, unlike before, she wasn't just excited to be held by him—Jinah was equally relieved as well.

"Jinah...." Haru inched his lips closer to hers and the girl softly closed her eyes; waiting to feel those lips she had missed a lot.

However, before anything could have happened, someone barged inside the room.

"Huh?!" It was Yumiko.

Since the couch was just opposite the door her eyes didn't land on the fading body of Haru's vessel. Rather, she focused on her son who looked very much alive and healthy.

"Hey mom...." Haru smiled at his mother as he glanced once at the bed and sighed in relief.

Although Haru was a little distracted because of the moment he was having with Jinah, he responded on time and erased his previous vessel before his mother could look at the bed.

But Yumiko has no conscience to look anywhere else, at the moment.

As Jinah hopped off Haru's lap awkwardly, Haru went up on his feet and slowly approached his mother.

The tears in her eyes had already begun sliding down her cheeks as the lady approached her son with weak, shaky legs.

"Haru...." The said boy marched towards his mother before she could fall to her knees and held her in his arms.

Not a single word was exchanged between the mother and son after that as Yumiko clung to her son and wailed aloud.

Those emotions she has been suppressing until now to not make her husband and Jinah worried, everything just burst out.

Jinah also couldn't hold her tears as she watched the two from behind with a soft smile on her face.

Although these few months were incredibly painful, in the end, everything turned out to be fine.
