Chapter 73 – Riana

Third person POV

Two days had passed, and Robert was training in the nearby forest with Blaise when a hooded figure was spying on Robert, observing his movement and training piece and piece while jotting down some notes on her leather notepad with a quill pen. By 8 in the morning, after his usual morning routine, Robert went to school with his handy leather messenger bag as Blaise wavered goodbye to him, before she would go to manage her father's potion shop.

Along the way, while walking the cobblestone street, Robert was humming happily when he bumped into the hooded figure by accident.

"Oh, so sorry," he apologized to the hooded figure.

But then, the hooded figure responded with a murmur, "It's okay."

Recognizing the voice, Robert asked back, "Wait, are you Riana-chan?"

Turning towards him, the hooded figure, which turns out to be Riana, took off her hood and responded, "How did you know it's me?"

"I can tell by your voice," replied Robert back. "What are you doing here in Peacewood?"

Looking at his school uniform, Riana asked back, "Are you a student?"

"Oh, yes, I am," Robert responded back. "I am a student of a magic academy here."

"Magic academy?"

"Yes, where we learn how to use and control the magic we have."

"So yours is lightning magic, right?"

Robert then positively nodded. "Yes, from my father's side."

"I see," Riana replied back. "Anyhow, I'm here to meet up with my fellow goblins at their post outside of this town."

"Oh, okay then," Robert agreed without any objection. "Sure thing, I had no problem with that."

"Thanks."

Then, a clock tower struck 9, causing Robert to be alerted, and he said to Riana fast, "Oh, no, I'm gonna be late for class. I'll see you around."

He then sprinted towards school as Riana watches him from the distance, before turning around and walked away, too.
