Chapter 74 – Potion Making Class

Robert's POV

Finally arriving at school, I opened the door and greeted, "Good morning."

"Good morning, Robert-kun," William greeted back.

"Morning, Ro-kun," Harold added.

"Morning, guys," I greeted back, before going to my seat, which was next to Harold.

I then placed my bag on the desk and opened it, before getting my textbooks and a leather-bound book for notes. There is an ink bottle on the desk so I only brought two quill pens for it.

After that, Harold said to me, "Hey, Ro-kun, I think my older sister is in love with you, and she had feelings for you."

That statement really shocked me a lot, so as William and Emma.

"What? She is?"

"Really?"

Harold then nodded. "Yes, she said it herself."

"I didn't expect that!" I responded back. "How she, a princess, would fall in love with a commoner like me?"

Yeah, in my previous life, I watched a lot of anime where a royal fall in love with a commoner, and this became true in this world, for the first time in my new life.

Then, William suggested to me, "I think the way you saved her and Harold really makes his older sister fall for you."

"Oh, that makes a lot of sense," I agreed with him in response.

I then thought in my mind in despair, "I don't want to marry a royal!"

Later, at 10 in the morning, after that usual, weekday class, me and my friends went to another of our extracurricular classes, potion making, where the teacher is an alchemist named Nathan Tin. There he teaches us the basics of potion making, where we will crush certain herbs and minerals, before dissolving most of them in either water or other liquids.

"Man, I want to copy one of big sis's healing potions," I thought to myself while attempting a little, careful drop of a chemical into a glass beaker full of water. "That one is so popular with travelers and adventurers alike. But, how?"

I then managed to pour a single drop of that chemical into the beaker, causing a buildup in the form of foaming bubbles as a chemical reaction.

"Okay, did I do it right?" I asked upon seeing this.

Then, Nathan heard it clear and went to my desk and observed it. "Yes, you did. This is a chemical reaction when you pour that chemical into water."

"Oh, really?" I asked back.

Smiling at me, Nathan, who had orange eyes and black, loosed hair, responded back, "Your sister is an alchemist, right?"

"Yes, I sometimes watched her work on mixing chemicals and making healing potions," I replied back.

"That's good. Then you might have known the basics of potion making."

"Yeah, I saw some chemicals that was used in potion making."

But, before Nathan would reply, we heard a small explosion coming from Harold's desk, causing Nathan to go there to help out.

Watching this, I thought to myself, "Someday, I will make that healing potion."

At that moment, I was determined to learn more about alchemy and potion making so I could make that potion.

The class lasted until 11 in the morning, in which we will go to one of our regular classes.
