Chapter 108 – Dan’s Wind Magic

Third person POV

The next morning, at the clan estate's training ground, Robert, Blaise, Dan, Sofia, and Jeremiah are having a training session.

William, Peter, Emma, Sol, and Harold are watching while Zarah was busy at her royal duties at the palace.

The purpose of this is so Dan would show off his wind magic to Robert and Blaise.

So, Dan started by outstretching his right hand towards a scarecrow target. "Gust!"

He then fired a strong gust at the target, obliterating it in seconds.

Robert and Blaise are shocked to see how strong it was, with Robert commenting, "What? That's strong! It's stronger than big sis'!"

After that, Dan glanced at the two of them. "This is a strong Gust. It's one of the basics."

Robert then get what his grandfather said to him.

Then, Jeremiah entered in and responded, "Yeah, and it's one of the easiest. Have you ever tried to do that?"

"Yes, but it's in a smaller scale," answered Robert back.

"Oh really?" Dan retorted. "Show it to me."

In response to that, Robert stepped, closed his eyes, and aimed his right hand, uttering, "Gust."

But, despite his few months of training, he only managed to summon a small gust of wind, and it's only a breeze rather than a gust of wind.

To that, Dan burst into laughter, causing Robert to be distraught by it.

Blaise, William, and Emma were confused by her grandfather's laughter.

Sol was not that disappointed at the old man's laughter at his student's wind magic.

Being humble, Fiona and Jeremiah didn't laugh at Robert's wind magic.

But, it didn't last long, and it was a joke, so Dan stopped laughing, and he said to Robert, "I'm just kidding. I'll show you how to properly do it."

Robert then snapped out of it. "Okay, I think I get it now. I'll just focus more of my mana to the wind magic."

"I supposed to teach you that," responded Dan.

"Yeah, just do it," Robert reassured in response. "I'm eager to learn more about it."

Eventually, Dan agreed with him.

After that, Blaise shows her wind magic to Dan, summoning a slightly stronger gust of wind than Robert's.

In response to that, Dan decided to show appreciation to her out of passive-aggressiveness, giving out a good, acceptable compliment to her and encouraging her to work more on it.

But Blaise noticed the anger being shoved within Dan's face, and was a bit disheartened by it, knowing that she didn't do good enough on her wind magic.

In response to that, Robert comforted her, reassuring that she'll even improve more.

Jeremiah and Sol are happy about it.

After that, Sol tells William, Peter, Emma, and Harold that Robert will eventually master the art of wind magic over time.

They agreed with him, with Harold thinking about applying it to his earth magic training.

After some time, they all went to the main house for a breakfast meal.
