Out Of Seclusion

With a plan in place the Human Race Army began their skirmishes against the Ink Clan. Making doubly sure that they had plenty of time for retreat when it was needed if needed at all. Typical small battles would always occur across the Void. It was a time where the Black Prison Great Territory was quiet no longer.

~~10 Years later~~

"It seems they have developed a rather interesting strategy." Lei Jin thought as he cultivated in plain sight yet infinitely far away.

What he saw were teams moving in groups of five. Each team had a 7th Rank Elder and several 5th rank and 6th rank. Over the course of time Disciples from the Cave Heavens & Paradises grew quite substantially. Those who had been stuck in their cultivation quickly began breaking through. Even the 4th Ranks had diminished in number greatly. One could say that it was like the Cave Heaven & Paradises back bone had grown stronger. Therefore they could pull off battle tactics like this…

"The Captain of each team was a 6th Rank Open Heaven while the 7th Rank remained as the ultimate trump card of sorts. And in the event a Territory Lord Appeared the 7th rank masters would form a 5 directions Array to defend against it as my Human Race Teams fled back to the safety of my Rainbow Aura." Lei Jin thought. "It's a good strategy. But it still lacks the decisive killing blow. Which is why two Supreme Elders are stationed at each of the designated entry points. This increases the odds of the Territory Lord dying outside of the Aura." He continued to think as he watched an exception for this time.

~~The 5 Teams currently retreating~~

"Senior Brother! Remember this point was used last time. The Supreme Elder had been injured at that time. We should go to a…" One of the Captains started.

"Do you think that 2 Supreme Elders could possibly deal with what's after us! We're lucky we even made it this far!" The One who made the decision in the first place quibbed back.

"Brother is right. Even still, would it not be easier if we went to a spot where both Supreme Elders were at their strongest?" Another of the captains asked.

"Of course it would be better. But I'm afraid less than a handful in the 3000 Worlds could possibly deal with this enemy." He said looking behind him to see the veritable horde of the Ink Clan.

This horde had with it 10 Territory Lords that they could see and a Royal Lord. No matter how strong the 5 team structure was this was far in a way too much to deal with. 1 Territory lord was too much for them to deal with on their own most of the time. And even when they managed to kill a Territory Lord it was always met with an intense struggle the likes of which, without luck on their side they would have died countless times. Let alone 10 of these threats, there was also a Royal Lord.

"We just need to make it back to the Rainbow Aura. If we get close enough the Young Pillar will surely find a way to deal with this. Just hold on a bit longer and we will arrive." The eldest of the Captains said, clenching his fist drawing blood. "Please Azure Void Young Pillar… pull out another miracle." He thought as the drops of his blood hit the deck of the ship. This reaction showed everyone around him that could see, this wasn't what he wanted to do either. It was what he must do.

~~One of the designated spots in the Rainbow Aura~~

"Sister should leave to request assistance. This… this isn't like the other time." One of the two Supreme Elders said.

"I can't leave you alone, you still haven't fully recovered yet. What could you possibly do on your own? Also don't you know that the freakishly strong Young Pillar is still here? If we noticed the Ink Clans Royal Lord showing up. How could he miss it?" The woman shouted at the man pulling his ear. "Stupid man." She mumbled, crossing her arms.

"Supreme Elders! Run! There's a Royal Lord in the mix! Wait, there are three of you here?" One of the Team members said having arrived first completely exhausting his strength to even manage such a feat. Even his Small Universe was trembling with signs of a breakthrough at this moment.

"No, but there are the two of us here…" The man said, confused looking back to see Lei Jin.

"Supreme Elder is so mean. How could you think I wouldn't accept this gift the Ink Clan has given my Human Race? A Royal Lord… Hmmm… I'll take care of it. But first let's get our people to safety." Lei Jin said, mobilizing an incredibly massive amount of energy. And in a flash the teams who had been running away at full speed appeared inside the Rainbow Aura.

The 7th Rank Masters collapsed beyond exhaustion, unable to lift even a finger. "Young Pillar is truly a Dragon among Men." One of them said before receiving a small recovery pill.

"Hehe, I was just lucky, that's all. You all did good work. Now then. As a reward you may witness my methods. See how I deal with that impudent Royal Lord." Lei Jin said, turning his head to face the horde of Ink that was on its way over. And released a wave that showed a small amount of his strength. Not enough that the Royal Lord was worried.

"Continue the March I'll take care of their 9th rank master myself. They must have just been promoted recently. Let us serve our Master Ink!" The Royal Lord said.

"For Master Ink! United the Heavens and Kill the Humans!" The Ink Horde shouted.

"Oh but make sure to leave the women alive. I'm positive that they will be fun new toys for us Royal Lords to play with." The Royal Lord said.

The distance to the Rainbow Aura stopped decreasing. It was like they were being moved backwards at the same rate they were moving forward.

"What's going on sir Royal Lord?" One of the Territory Lords asked, unable to discern it for himself.

"Though, the dead don't need to know anything about that. But as a thanks for giving me such a great grindstone to work with I'll say… the fact you aren't getting closer… Is my doing." Lei Jin said, appearing in front of the horde.
