Delacroix Branch Office, Novus City Center.

"Are you absolutely sure you have completed all the necessary preparations to take control of her company?" An old man asked with a serious expression.

"Yes, Grandfather. I have completed all the preparations and this time I am one hundred percent confident that I can take down her company and have it firmly in my grasp," replied a young man with conviction.

"Nathaniel, don't make grandiose claims like last time when you failed," said another young man with messy blonde hair and a nonchalant attitude, his tone tinged with contempt and envy.

"Cousin Julian, why are you interfering? It's not like you care about the family business," Nathaniel hissed, irritated by Julian's reminder of his past failures.

Six people were present in the office: the head of the Delacroix family, Nathaniel Delacroix himself, his cousin Julian Delacroix, two elders of the Delacroix family who supported Nathaniel's bid for the heir position, and the head of Delacroix family security, John Collins.

"Stop it, you two. We are here to witness your execution of this operation, and we are present to provide our support," said one of the elders, putting an end to the bickering between the cousins.

He also saved Nathaniel from a lecture by the old head of the Delacroix family.

With the intervention of the elder, the tension in the room dissipated, and the focus returned to Nathaniel's plan. The young man cleared his throat and took a deep breath before addressing the group.

"Thank you, Grandfather, for your confidence in me. I assure you, this time I have left no stone unturned in my preparations. With the information I have gathered, I can guarantee a successful takeover of the rival company," Nathaniel said, his voice firm and unwavering.

John Collins, the head of Delacroix family security, spoke up, "I have reviewed Nathaniel's plan and have no doubt that we can execute it with ease. However, we must remain vigilant, as we cannot underestimate our opponent."

The other elder nodded in agreement, "Indeed, we must tread carefully. We cannot risk any missteps that could jeopardize the reputation of the Delacroix family. Nathaniel, we trust in your abilities, but you must ensure that everything is executed flawlessly."

Nathaniel nodded, "I understand the gravity of this situation. I will do everything in my power to ensure a successful outcome."

Julian sat back in his chair with his arms folded, a scowl on his face. He couldn't help but feel jealous of Nathaniel's position as heir to the family business. He had always wanted to be in Nathaniel's shoes, but he knew that he would never be chosen over his cousin.

Suddenly, Julian spoke up. "I don't think this plan is going to work," he said, his voice laced with skepticism.

Nathaniel shot him a withering glare. "And what makes you the expert on corporate takeovers, Julian?"

"I may not be an expert, but I have a gut feeling that something's not right about this," Julian replied.

The elders looked at each other, unsure of what to do. Nathaniel's plan seemed solid, but Julian's doubts were causing them to question it.

"Julian, do you have any evidence to support your claim?" one of the elders asked.

Julian shook his head. "No, but I think we should at least consider other options before moving forward with this plan."

Nathaniel scoffed. "We don't have time to consider other options. This is the only way we can take over that company."

The meeting continued with Nathaniel and Julian continuing to argue back and forth. The elders listened and weighed their options, unsure of what to do.

Somewhere in the Novus City, at the same time.

"Hahaha! Look at these rats trying to get their hands on something that clearly doesn't belong to them." A man sat in front of a large flat screen, observing the movements of a group of people.

"Leader Lee, are you sure we don't need to notify Master Sterling?" asked one of his slick-haired subordinates, still typing rapidly on the keyboard.

"No, there's no need. We just need to make sure that they are under our radar and all of their plans are within our grasp!" Andrew Lee replied with a smirk.

"Indeed, Leader Lee, you are wise. This way, we can ensure that this information doesn't get disclosed to anyone else and we can make our move at the critical moment and take care of these rats in one fell swoop!" another subordinate chimed in, eager to show his loyalty to Andrew and his understanding of the importance of his plans for dealing with the rats.

As the group continued to monitor the activities of the other party, Andrew began to outline his plans. He knew that he needed to act quickly and decisively in order to seize control of the situation.

"We need to gather as much information as possible," Andrew instructed his subordinates. "We need to know their every move and be prepared for any contingencies."

His subordinates nodded in agreement and began to work tirelessly to gather intelligence on the other party. They monitored phone calls, intercepted emails, and even planted informants within the rival group.

Andrew was pleased with the progress his team was making. He knew that with this level of preparation, they would be able to strike at the perfect moment and take control of the situation.

However, all of these movements had started just after the accidents involving Vivienne. This made Andrew doubt whether the coincidence was possible. But without solid proof or even a little confirmation, he did not hurry to make it his final conclusion. Instead, he began to pay closer attention to the movements of the Delacroix branch company, as most of their personnel had gathered there.

Andrew knew that the situation was delicate, and he needed to proceed with caution. He continued to monitor the situation closely, gathering more information and analyzing it carefully. He knew that any misstep could be disastrous and jeopardize his carefully laid plans.

As the days passed, Andrew's suspicion grew stronger, and he began to consider the possibility that the Delacroix family might be behind Vivienne's accidents. He knew that if this was true, it would change the game entirely.

Andrew's focus remained unwavering, and he continued to gather information and plan his next move. He knew that the coming days would be crucial, and he needed to be prepared for anything.
