CHAPTER TWENTY SIX: GOOD DAY GONE BAD.

MINA'S POV

" Good luck with your performance." I said to Aaman and the rest and moved to the audience where I met Hyuna, Min Young, Granny and Nana," Where is Yuri?" I asked as she came running," Iam here.." she said as she patted," Are you okay?" I asked as she nodded her head," Iam okay." she added as we all turned to look at the stage," Hello..Aayan town!!" Aaman said as everyone applauded," We are the...." he said as he turned back to his friends making all of us laugh," We haven't really chosen a cool name yet...but we shall surely have one by the time this song ends." they added as we all clapped, the lights went dim as they started playing, you could only see the sparks from the glow sticks people were holding as we all enjoyed the song, I stared at granny and Hyuna who was in the embrace of Min young and then there was Yuri and Nana who were dancing back and forth at the music and I have never wished for a moment to stand still like I did this one...after the first song...Aaman got the mic again," Well for our second song we would like to invite another beautiful singer to sing with us." he said as every one started mummering," Kang Mina! Get in the stage right now." he said as Hyuna stared at me," Come on hurry..." he added as every one made space for me," Kang Mina...hurry." Hyuna said as granny gave me a thumbs up," Kang Mina! Kang Mina! Aaman chanted as every one else followed," Come on." Yuri said as I slowly moved to the stage...looking down I could see every one...giving me all the attention," Aaman..what are you thinking?" I said as he handed me the mic and started playing the guitar," Fighting!" he whispered as I closed my eyes," Fighting!" I said as I started singing I was certainly nervous at first but for eased up as the song went on..I could see Hyuna, granny and Yuri cheering for me...as I sung..it certainly felt so good.

" Mina!!" Hyuna exclaimed as she came and gave me a hug," I couldn't help crying due to feeling proud of you as you were up there...I've never seen you smile so brightly." she added as Yuri came and gave me a huge hug too," You were so cool up there, look granny can't even stop crying..." she said as I walked to granny," Granny...I've noticed you cry alot lately." I said as I wiped her tears.." You were so cool.. I couldn't help cry at the thought of how Hae min might me looking watching you from up there." granny said mentioning my mom's name.." I bet she feels so proud." she added as she pulled me in for an embrace.." Aaman you were so cool as well." Yuri said as she fist bumped him," Well Mina, you and Aaman can talk we shall go over there and enjoy the rest of the performances." Hyuna said as she pulled Yuri and Nana away.." Hyuna.." I called out but she didn't turn behind.

" I was really nervous when you called me up there." I said as he handed me a bottle of water," I knew you would be but I certainly wanted you to share your talent with everyone." he said as we continued moving," Mina.." he called out as I turned to face him," Remember when I told you that I have a fifth secret I want you to know?" he asked as he arroused my curiosity," Yes..what's it?" I asked as he moved closer to me," I'll need to whisper this one into your ear." he said as he moved even closer," Kang Mina....I love you." he said as I held tightly in the bottle of water, I felt a heat rush through my body followed by a chill...and my heart just couldn't stop racing," I love you Kang Mina." he added as he stared at me and smiled," What's that look? iam I getting rejected three seconds after I've confessed." he said," Who said that I was going to reject you." I said shyly," Does that mean..." he said," I love you too." I said as I turned the other side to catch my breath," You love me too." he said as he came close and held my hand, moved closer too and as we both leaned in," Mina!" Yuri called I turned to look at her but she was running and out of breath," What's wrong?" I asked," Granny!" she said," Okay Yuri calm down and tell us." Aaman said," Granny has fainted." she said as we all quickly ran to her, she was being taken away by an ambulance," Hyuna.." I called," Calm down I'll go with Granny to the hospital, you can follow us from behind." she said," What should we do?" I asked as Aaman told me to calm down," I've called for a taxi,you and Yuri can take that."Min Young said as he helped us get in," Take them to the town hospital." he told the driver," Thank you." I said as I held onto Yuri's hand tightly," Granny is going to be alright, right." Yuri asked as I assured her with a nod.

HYUNA'S POV

" Is she up?" I asked the nurse as she came out of the room," Well she'll wake up in a few minutes, we ran some tests on her and shall get the results soon too..for the mean time you can let her rest." she said as she turned to leave when I stopped her," So what's wrong with my granny?" I asked," She could have fainted for many reasons, but we shall know the main reason after the tests come out." she said as I let her go, I slowly moved to the room granny was lying in and sat besides her bed," Get well soon." I said as I helped her hand in mine and covered her.

Right then I had my phone ring," Hello..Mina where are you?" I asked as I stepped out," The taxi we were using has some mechanical problems so we waiting for the one we ordered to arrive, how's granny?" She asked," She's still resting but they have said that she'll wake up soon." I said," Thank goodness I was worried sick." she said," Okay our taxi has arrived so see you in the hospital." she added as she hang up...

I quickly walked into the room again and couldn't see granny any where, I then heard things fall in the washroom and when I opened the door, it was granny staring at the mirror with blood coming from her nose," Granny?" I called out as she turned to see me," Hyuna..what are you doing here?" she asked as she quickly washed it off," Granny what's wrong?" I asked as she tried to change the topic," Is there I something I should know...was that just a nose bleed?" I asked as she stared at me with tears in her eyes," Granny.." I called out again.

Everything she told me beat me up, I could feel my skin hurting from her words, I felt puzzled and confused," Granny...I can't believe iam just getting to know all this right now." I said as I stood from my sit and walked around the room," Granny..." I called out as I passed my hand through my hair, tears even started rolling down my cheeks," Hyuna..calm down." she said," Calm down, iam only finding out right now that my granny has cancer and I should ce down!" I exclaimed as the door opened," Cancer!" Mina exclaimed," Granny has cancer...?" she added as we all stared at her," Listen girls." granny tried to speak as the doctor came in," You all are here...the results for your tests are out and..I might need to tell you this individually maybe accompanied by the eldest of these three." he said," No tell all of us." Mina said," It's okay Mina, I'll go with Grandma." I said as I helped her up and we followed behind the doctor.

Whatever the doctor told us wasn't news anymore, granny was having stage four cancer...as per what she explained to us it was more if a relapse...it was alot to take in be it on my side or Mina and Yuri's side, we were staring to be scared..and had alot of questions on our mind..but the person who had it worse was granny, how did she even keep this to her self..yes dad knew but he wasn't their at this moment was she planning to hide it even more if I didn't find out..." Okay guys let granny rest...come out." I said to Yuri and Mina...who hesitantly walked out of the room,Yuri couldn't stop crying and Mina couldn't stop moving back and forth," What did the doctor say? Can granny receive treatment I mean chemotherapy I mean people with cancer can survive longer these days." Mina said," Yes...Hyuna why aren't you telling us anything?" Yuri asked," Well I'll need you to stop moving around so I can speak." I said as Mina came and sat at the bench," Look treatment can be a solution but this is the second time.." I said," What I mean to say is that granny is relapsing...and it's as a critical stage right now." I added," Any ways granny and I will be going to her attending doctor in the city tomorrow, he will give us advise on what can be done." I added," Don't worry." I said as I pulled both of them in for a hug.

After a while,Yuri and Mina calmed down and took a quick nap,on the other hand, I failed to get any sleep...so I moved out of the hospital room and sat by the waiting benches and pulled out my phone," Hello...Min Young." I said," Were you asleep?" I asked," I was waiting to here from you." he said as I sighed," Are you okay, is your granny okay?" he asked as tears rolled down my cheeks," Hyuna...what's wrong." he asked," Should I come over?" he asked, I knew I was being selfish but I really needed comfort right now as well, as much as I've given it to everyone I just couldn't seem to give it to my self," Can you?" I asked," Of course, wait for while, I'll be there." he added as he hang up," I leaned back to the wall and sighed...this had to go down in history as one of my best days but it instead turned into those days I'll think about in the future and feel sad...
