Lynn drove off as fast as he could without following the traffic rules, he drove where he saw with his eyes without stopping.
He was getting way more mad as he thought about the question his boss asked him. Was Dexter his?
It was late, very late, almost 11 p.m. "Dexter must be tired too." Lynn thought.
In less than 10 minutes he was there and barged into the building. His bodyguard followed him, but he ended up waiting outside the office instead.
Lynn barged into his boss's office without hesitation. He didn't even look at the two men who were still in front of the office, all he saw in front of his eyes was Dexter.
To his surprise, in the office was his boss, writing peacefully his papers at his desk, while Dexter was on the couch, covered with a blanket.
"Oh? You arrived?" Lynn's boss raised his look and glared at him. He was breathing heavily and his nerves got onto him.
"What... What the fuck did you do to him?" Lynn tried to speak and raised his hand. Lynn's boss raised his eyebrow and acted like he didn't know shit Lynn was talking about.
"What? You're talking like he's your boyfriend...Ha... You amuse me sometimes, dear Lynn." his boss said and chuckled.
Lynn's eyes widened and he was about to make a fuss, but luckily he was able to control himself. He was purely shocked by how fast his boss managed to clean the office.
Lynn spoke: "How did you clean the office so fast? You barely had any time."
Suddenly, his boss got serious and said: "It was a piece of cake. Right after you hung up he passed out. You go check on him if you want. I had fun, I need to be honest."
His boss's words got Lynn more mad than he was. He slowly went to the couch where Dexter was sleeping and looked at him.
Poor Dexter was all red, he was trembling and he was for sure hot. Lynn slowly touched his face with the back of his hand. His face was hot too. "Was it his first time?" he asked himself. He then took the blanket aside and scanned Dexter's body. It was also full of bruises and hickeys and every centimeter of his chest and neck was full of bite marks. He looked so innocent... Lynn almost felt sorry for him.
"You can take him now." his boss said. He opened his mouth to say something else, but he hesitated. Yeah, he liked to piss off Lynn, but he knew his limits.
His boss gave Lynn Dexter's clothes and he carried him with the blanket onto his body. Lynn didn't leave the office without throwing his boss a threatening look.
He opened the door and saw his bodyguard still waiting in front of the door. He suddenly heard screams behind him: "Did you complete the mission?"
Lynn stopped and stood a few seconds before answering: "Yes... The man was killed successfully."
He then slammed the door behind him and left the building with his bodyguard. Before unlocking the car, Lynn's bodyguard spoke: "Sir, would you prefer me to drive so you could stay in the backseat with him?... In case that something happens?"
Lynn glanced at his bodyguard and then answered: "Yeah... You don't say bad."
Lynn's bodyguard got up to drive while Lynn and Dexter were in the backseat. Lynn placed Dexter right next to him, with his head on his lap.
His bodyguard drove off, but after some minutes of staring outside the window, Lynn looked back down at Dexter who was still sleeping and trembling a little bit.
He bit his lip and couldn't hold himself back. He silently placed his hand on Dexter's chin and leaned down. Suddenly, a smile appeared on Dexter's face which made Lynn move away from him.
He got him by surprise, but the next second Lynn leaned down to his face again and kissed him, holding the kiss for some seconds. When he pulled away, a thought came into his mind: "Is this how love feels?"
It was too fast... too early for Lynn to 'fall' in love... Or either to say the word 'love'... Still, Dexter was his victim. His and his boss's. Why would a criminal like him fall in love with his victim? Not even he could answer those questions, so neither anyone else.
Lynn was gazing at Dexter's lovely face and the way he was sleeping. In one way, he seemed cute.
Soon enough, while Lynn was still staring at Dexter, his bodyguard commanded: "You can get down, sir. We're home."
Lynn looked outside and saw his big house. He got down and then he was helped a bit by his bodyguard to get Dexter down from the car and to carry him into Lynn's bedroom.
Truthfully, his bedroom was bigger than the room Dexter was the first time, it was brighter and way more spacious.
"You can go home now. You've helped me enough today." Lynn spoke to his bodyguard.
He left Lynn's house and there were just the two of them. He was still gazing at Dexter. He was jealous of his boss...
Suddenly, a thought rushed through Lynn's mind. He remembered the first day he met Dexter. He was running from a guy... And he seemed very desperate to escape.
Lynn stood a bit and thought about the scene he was witness to and then suddenly mumbled: "What a fucked up situation..."
He lay down next to Dexter and stared at the walls. His mind was full of unknown ideas and strange questions. Sometimes, he turned his head to check if Dexter was ok and if his state was getting better. He looked at the clock and saw that it was 1 a.m, but he still didn't close an eye.
He then decided to turn around and try to sleep, but suddenly Dexter was moving. He glanced at him and saw that he was trembling again.
He took the blanket he had on the bed and covered Dexter with it. Before he could take his hand off the blanket, Dexter's hand caught Lynn's.
He didn't have what to do but approach Dexter and keep his hand on him. Lynn placed his hand on Dexter's waist and kept it there.
He didn't notice since then that Dexter's body was so small compared to his. His hand was fitting just perfectly on Dexter's slim waist.
They kept that position until, eventually, Lynn fell asleep faster than he thought.
