A Fool's Wish

Blazing lights shone throughout the cave as steel clashed. A curvaceous, young woman ran at the speed of light, dodging the sword attacks that were flung her way. She flipped in the air and landed behind the man she was fighting, her hair blowing as she brought down her sword to slash his back. The man screamed as she quickly moved on to her main target.

A young girl was sitting there in her orange and black kimono. A fox mask was placed on the side of her head and a fan in her left hand. She ran in a zig-zag motion before disappearing and appearing before the young girl. Everything seemed to go in slow motion.

The woman brought her katana down and sliced the young girl in half. Her eyes widened in surprise when her enemy turned into little spiders before forming again. The young girl ran forward, flicking her hands in a weaving motion.

Silk webs caught all four of the swordsman's limbs and tightened around them. Her exposed thighs starting cutting and bleeding, the young girl laughing into her kimono's sleeve at the sight.

The swordsman struggled to break free, however, her eyes caught a glimpse of something and she smirked. The young girl felt a forceful kick to the back of her head and she was tossed forward, colliding with the cave walls. She spat out blood and glared at the two women before her. Mai Hisagi and Kiyoshi Nakamura.

Swordsman from hell and the Cheshire kunoichi standing next to each other. Mai pushed back her lavender hair and brought out a rope, whilst Kiyoshi finished off the rest of the group.

The young girl got up and brought her webs out again. However, her sight started blurring from the blood trickling down her forehead. She started to fall forward, and Mai quickly caught her and tied her up with the rope.

"Looks like our job here is finished." Mai's raspy voice spoke. Kiyoshi nodded, unable to reply due to being mute. She placed her smiling cat mask on and disappeared, leaving Mai and their captive behind.

"I do not mind getting fat and old here!" Magnus celebrated, downing the tenth cup of sake, and trouble inhaling the nth bowl of ramen and miso soup. Thali watched in awe as he devoured everything placed down in front of him.

Mortale looked at her with a raised eyebrow and a smirk."Looks like you've got a competitor." He joked, earning a glare from the tanned girl. "You seem to want to die." Magnus watched with chipmunk cheeks and amused eyes.

"Okay guys, let's calm down," Elvia said, nervously smiling.Koko and Stephan came back with a handful of merchandise. "Dude, everything is so cheap here," Koko announced, a giggle leaving her mouth. Her brother lit up a firecracker illuminating their dark brown skin with a warm amber glow.

Magnus looked at it with excitement , memories of his mother doing the same for him flooding his mind. Elvia wrapped an arm around his shoulder and took a closer look at the fire crack. A warm smile was placed on her face. The festivities were still going on and the juggernaut pirates were fully enjoying themselves. It was a nice change from Morte.

It did remind the senior members of the crew of Koto, maybe they were sister islands. Stephan grabbed a glass of beer offered to him and chugged it down. A sudden loud explosion came and blew everyone away and others apart.

The juggernaut pirates got off the ground with a groan, as their muscles ached and burned. The dust cleared up showing Mai and Kiyoshi standing side by side. With one final groan, the crew had one thing in their mind. All good things must come to an end.

_____________

Magnus ducked and dodged for the nth time. Kiyoshi threw a bunch of kunais at the captain over and over again, frustrated with his skills. "When are we going to go to an island where we don't get attacked or have to fight!?" Magnus screeched. When no replies came from his crew, he noticed them running with the civilians.

Blending in almost. Koko had the audacity to turn around and stick her tongue as if she was saying that he should've kept his skills to himself, and acted like a hopeless civilian. The residents of Sakurasou scattered, and the festivities were now over.

Mai came into the fight to help her struggling partner. She unsheathed her sword and started swinging at the captain. Kiyoshi went back to attacking straight away.

Noises of surprise and worry came out of his mouth as he tried to dodge both their attacks. He knew his body was far from fully healed and rested, so he couldn't risk using Jupiter armour quite yet, or even thrill mode for that fact.

Mai dragged two fingers across her sword, and it lit up with blue flames. Magnus's eyes widened, and Kiyoshi flipped backwards, gaining a safe distance.

The redhead quickly ran out of the restaurant and into the open street. His face contorted into an expression of mischief. His crew hadn't gotten any far and the troublesome duo were on the streets now.

"Now, now girls. Why attack me when you have five wonderful individuals waiting for you?" Upon hearing that, the juggernauts turned around and gave him the nastiest glare they could muster.

Mai and Kiyoshi looked at each other for a minute before throwing a smoke bomb on the ground and disappearing. Six opponents would be far too great for them. That's all he needed to do. His eyes almost came out of its sockets in shock as did the rest of the crew.

A sudden punch to his stomach gained his utmost attention.

Stephan walked back, and high-fived Thali, who went and gave the captain his second punch. The poor thing was crouched down and crying. The residents who had come back, whispered amongst each while staring at him with sympathetic eyes.

"I'm making the lot of ya walk the plank when we get back. I might take the liberties to tie you all to the mast before I make ya walk the plank." He croaked out, face red and tears of pain streaming down.

The crew sweat dropped before helping their captain. Elvia started to feel tired. Her human form was taking up more energy than she expected.A feeling of tiredness that started back in Morte."Good evening folks." A young boy's voice with a lisp came from behind them.

The crew turned around and noticed a young boy in an orange-patched work yukata. His long black hair fell over his shoulder. He was grinning with a tooth missing, causing Thali to have an internal meltdown on how cute he was. "Are ya looking for somewhere to stay?" Magnus found his way of speaking intriguing.

Most of the residents here had a cool way of speaking. The entire world spoke one language in its own unique way."My name is Ryu, and my mother and I want you to stay in our Inn ." His eyes widened at the mention of customers and his mother.

Elvia turned back into human form and rushed to hug the cute little boy. Ignoring the fatigue she felt. "Ryusuke!" His mother called out. The crew looked behind him to see a pale woman with kind eyes and a red patched kimono running toward them. Her brown hair was in a side ponytail.

"Has he been bothering you?" Her voice was velvety soft. The pirate crew shook their heads. "We would like to stay at your inn." Magnus crouched down to the boy's level and smiled. "It's that okay big man?" Ryu nodded his head.

His gigantic smile widened even more.

Naoto walked along the railing, balancing himself as Kiyoshi and Mai updated him on what they had done and accomplished. He reprimanded their violent ways and continued his balancing session. " The red-haired boy from the prophecy has arrived," Mai said, nonchalantly.

Naoto halted his movements and turned toward her. "You mean Pukabarn." Mai nodded her head. "He's not aware, but anyone who knows the prophecy can tell it's him." The ronin stared at the open field with a single goal burning in his mind.

The prophecy stated that this boy can bring all your dreams to life. He needed Magnus to bring about the laughing dragon. It was time he claimed back Sakurasou Island.
