Blossom Island

The tension in the air was almost unbearable for Magnus. He swallowed his saliva, eyes trained on the lotus shaped island their ship was approaching. It was time. A great war like no other was upon them. The crew other than Mortale, stood spaced out on the upper deck. The white haired man was behind the wheel.

Magnus stood at the very front, using the dragon's head as leverage. The dawn sky was here, filled with purples and blue, a hint of orange from the sun peeking up. His tied hair blew around with the wind, his golden jewellery glistening under the skylight.

His expression was neutral, but his eyes held the determination of a man ready to conquer. Thali watched the captain, watching as he climbed further up the dragon's head, till he was in the very front.
