Not Changing My Mind

June left the campus, waving goodbye to Cherry and keeping her head down. Trying not to draw any attention to herself as she scanned the parked cars with eager eyes, spotting the long black limousine.

She wore a pale blue shirt dress, with a white belt around the waist and white sneakers. Her hair tied in a loose low ponytail, some long wispy pieces of black hair falling around her face.

She took out the gum from her mouth and threw it in a trashcan before knocking on the dark glass window.

The door popped open and Dylan sat inside, his white shirt sleeves rolled up to the elbows, no tie and his black suit pants hitched up to show his ankles as he leaned forward, head on hand.

She smiled and scooted over to sit beside him, making him flinch and sit up.

The car pulled out and began the long journey to the Jiang Mansion.
