The backstory of Raunak's mom

"Deep no matter what happens, don't take Ragini to Basu Villa. Don't take her to meet any of the family members, not Even Drishti. No means no, don't dare to put her life on risk."

Those words of Anand was coming across Deep's mind. He didn't know why Anand said that. Was he suspecting Drishti? Maybe Deep knew her more than anyone, he never could believe she would be harmful. But why Basu Villa was prohibited?

Suddenly his thoughts got shattered with a knock. It was Drishti. Deep knew why she was there and what she needed. That's the last thing he wanted to do.

"So you are transferring your property?" Deep asked with a sigh. He handed her those shares because his dad wanted. She was the only person hw could believe.

"What's the point keeping that? When I don't know where I will be." Those words left her mouth to make his heart twist. Where did she plan to go?

"What's your plan?" Deep was getting afraid. She was looking calm like that time when she killed that man.

"I don't like shedding blood, tut, tut! I don't mind either." Her dark looks made Deep gulp. He didn't know what she was about to do but he knew one thing, it won't end good.

"It won't be a good thing, Dri." He said in a shaky voice.

"My ending was never good. At least make it a little satisfying." She curved the right side of her lips that made her look like a devil, a psychopath.

"Dri!" Deep's eyes grew moist, "I shouldn't have known what I know. Things would have gone easier. Why I was the one to know it, Dri? Why?"

Drishti suddenly started laughing, "Bro! Calm down. Why are you freaking out? Everyone will know....sooner or later. And you are not the only one, Adi, Rishi, Mohit, Dhruv, they know. And it's okay, really okay."

"Don't do anything reckless." Deep warned.

"You know me. I won't do anything if the line is not crossed. Let me do according to my wish. It's my last wish anyway." She smiled faintly.

"How could you guys skip all these details?" Maya was mad at Anand. As a police he should have gone through this.

"Maya, you know the situations back then. Drishti killed someone, we covered up, she was in jail as a mentally unstable person, never got the chance to think about Raunak's mom's case. It's a mistake. I should have thought about it." Anand was cursing himself all the time. Only if he thought about it before, Rajiv and Sanjana wouldn't have died.

"I'm not blaming you. It's one of my junior yet admirable lawyer fellow asked me to fund it. I wouldn't have done that if it was not him. I wonder how he knew about all these." Maya sighed deeply. Her words hit Anand a little. He raised his eyebrows, "Are you talking about Mr. Bose? Then I understand how he knew all these."

"You know him? How?" She asked curiously. But before Anand could reply, Aditya came with the file. He needed to work hard to find permission of going through her case files. so he was a little late.

"Bhai, I've found it. And it is....." Aditya couldn't believe himself.

"What?"

"Raunak's mom had delusional disorder. The story we knew started from after getting the disorder. We always skipped the backstory. But Sanjana di knew it. And maybe she died because of this." Aditya's clenched his jaw tightly.

"Just get to the point, Adi." Anand was growing Impatient.

"Rathindra Sen left her and started to cheat with other woman not just because of this disorder. Do you think Rajiv bhai was that kind of person to leave Raunak and his mom behind just because Rathindra Sen disowned him? Never. He went out of that hell because he knew the backstory. Sanjana di, even Drishti knew it too." He handed them the file, "Delusional disorder can't appear suddenly. Of course it needed some accidents or maybe it could be from some fault from genetics. Aunty didn't have that. I don't know what stories Raunak told or we know, it maybe started with a murder years ago. She watched someone dear to get murdered or someone beloved to commit a murder."

"As the details of the file, she watched both together. Raunak's grandfather was killed by Rathindra Sen. She watched the whole thing, Rathindra Sen knew it too and he had a huge knowledge on herbs and medicines. He used those skills to give her drugs to let her into the disorder and that murder made his works easier."

Maya and Anand was looking at Aditya dumbfounded. Things shouldn't be that bad. They never expected this.

"He couldn't kill her because she owned the damn business and it was not easy to make her surrender. Yet when he did that, he overdosed the drug and killed her." Aditya explained.

"Did Sanjana di know it?" Anand asked.

"She knew it. But it took so long for her to understand the real reason. At first she thought it was only because of the murder. She knew from the beginning Rathindra Sen was a culprit, everyone knew it. But they couldn't take steps as no trace of proofs was left behind. Maybe Raunak doesn't know about his grandfather's murder. Actually it was framed as an accident."

"So now the question is why Rathindra killed his father." Anand muttered in a low voice.

"Mr. Mehta, if I say you are wrong. The main question is who cleared all those proofs if it was not Rathindra himself." A voice echoed from behind. They turned their head to find that lawyer Bose was standing with a file in his hand. Much to their surprise, Dhruv was standing a little behind him in his uniform

"Dhruv? When did you come back?" Aditya asked impatiently.

"Just now. I just stepped into the city and met Mr. Bose. During the trip, he contacted me to help in to investigate." He informed as both of them got seated.

Anand was looking at the young but promising lawyer with a complicated face. He didn't know whether to be happy or sad. He just knew this man was helping him.

"Why are you looking at me like this?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"love is another name of weakness, right?" Anand asked in a trembling voice that made him laugh a little, "I bet. You taught Avantika to shoot not to face same thing, right?"

Anand sighed and nodded, "Well let's not change the topic. There's no point of saying all these."

"True. okay, so I found some of Rathindra's old business, actually the business of his father. It was the business of export and import things through shipping and his main office was in Malta island. So I needed Dhruv's help in finding those things in shipping companies and the island thing." He then looked at Dhruv.

"So Rathindra's dad was a fair businessman which Rathindra was not. He used the business as a source of antic dealing and in one trip it caused a death of hundreds. That's the biggest scandal of Sen businesses that led it to an end. Then the universals rose in the business world again but that's not the point. Once the scandal happened, Rathindra's dad understood it was Rathindra's doings. So he prohibited him each of his businesses and that made him furious to kill his own dad. Money is the most dangerous thing in the world. Well, you remember Raunak had a secret chamber in the universals and that had a lot of maps. He collected all those to widen his antic dealing base. And those maps were the witness of all of his crimes."

Dhruv took a USB drive out of his pocket and put it into Maya's laptop. There was a picture of the map that Drishti stole back then and also returned it.

"In the back of each maps his crimes or of his gang on those areas were written with invisible ink. Drishti wanted to get that. Rajiv said it eas dangerous but he would help her fully because he also wanted to know about it. That time once it went to Drishti's office and found the map when she was tracing. I was taking her pictures of working but suddenly i happened to see the backside and came across their main plan. She asked me to keep secret and i had been keeping it. But I'm sick of it now."

"If the crimes were that prominent and they had proofs, why the hell she didn't take moves?" Maya was confused now. At one moment Drishti was really good and on the other point she was really suspicious.

"Because of that reason why she married Raunak. I mean I know the real mastermind." Mr. Bose said in a stern voice.
