CHARLES.

I was young when I trained several senior officers of this pack on matters of security before I took up the duties of the Beta of the pack.

Then later as Beta I led several missions to enhance the packs capacities, and most of the things we did were sanctioned by the Alpha. Most of the guards we worked with in such escapades became so close to me, almost like a family. We were always there for one another.

One of these guards was Ben. I had taught him from the very beginning the art of war, camouflage and survival and he became a very good student. However, some time later he became like an outcast and the Alpha expelled him from the pack, with rumours that he had plans to organize a coup. I didn't believe in any of the things they said about him but I had to enforce his banishment, even though it went against our brotherhood. Now Ben stood in front of me, offering to help.

“How did you get here?" I asked him, knowing only too well that he was an outcast.
