Hollywood What If Chapter 560

January.

2009.

After Kazir and Scarlett's holiday vacation in Hawaii, the couple returned to Los Angeles to resume their work. Scarlett didn't have any serious projects lately, most were commercials and modeling. However, she planned on taking a rest to stay healthy.

Furthermore, once the baby bump started showing, she had to postpone her modeling jobs, unless the products she promoted were related to pregnancy or babies.

As for Kazir, he promised that he would take the year less seriously... but he couldn't help but work hard. He suddenly felt the pressure of becoming a father, and it pushed him to work harder to make more money.

When Scarlett saw his seriousness, she didn't know whether to cry or laugh.

"Work hard? You must make more money since we're going to have twins? Kazir, you're already a billionaire. You don't have to worry about money," she said to Kazir when they had a conversation.

"I know, but I feel like that's not enough. I want to make sure that I can provide everything for our kids. I don't want them to experience what I experienced." That was Kazir's reply.

Overall, the two agreed that they would take a rest this year and prepare for the pregnancy... Erm.

Despite their decision to take things slow, Kazir found it impossible to fully step away from work. He couldn't help but think about making money, to ensure his kids' future.

His mind constantly thought of ideas for new projects, investments, and ways to secure a better future for his growing family. In fact, he decided to buy more properties. Now, he had two more houses in Los Angeles.

Scarlett, on the other hand, focused on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, attending prenatal checkups, and reading every book she could find about pregnancy.

One evening, as they sat on the couch while watching Game of Thrones, Scarlett placed Kazir's hand over her stomach.

"You don't have to do everything alone, Kazir. We're in this together," she smiled at him.

Kazir also smiled, feeling an overwhelming warmth.

"Yeah… together."

As for Kazir's family, they were so happy to hear the good news. Even Victor was so happy that he thought of rewriting his will and adjusting the trust fund for his grandchildren.

Now that the internet industry was getting better, Victor and Aaron's marketing company was earning more. They became one of the best marketing companies in New York, and possibly in the whole country, earning millions.

With their family's support, Kazir and Scarlett felt more confident about the journey ahead.

Victor frequently called to check on their situation. He offered financial advice and parenting wisdom. He admitted that he was not a great husband, but he was confident that he was a great father. His two sons grew up great, right?

As for Aaron, Kazir's older brother, he teased Kazir about the upcoming sleepless nights and diaper changes.

"You think directing is hard? Wait till you're dealing with two crying babies at 3 AM."

Aaron laughed over the phone. He recalled that time when he was taking care of his daughter when she was still a baby.

And now, Alissa was not a little girl anymore. She was already 11 years old. Aaron sometimes regretted that he missed a lot of Alissa's childhood. He should have been with his daughter more.

He also admitted that he missed the vibe of a little kid in the house… Perhaps he could talk to his wife about making another one.

By the way, making a baby might be the easiest part of the whole process. The hardest was nurturing and taking care of it.

So men, think carefully before you nut in someone's vajayjay. As for women, make sure the man you choose to have a kid with is responsible and has financial stability.

Kazir smirked when he heard Aaron's sentimentality.

"I'm sure I'll handle my kids well. Also, directing a movie is not that hard, it's probably the best part of production."

Spoiler alert: he had a hard time handling the two babies, but that would be another story.

"Yeah, yeah, just take care of Scarlett and make sure she won't be stressed."

Scarlett heard their conversation and smirked at Kazir.

"You heard that. You should take care of me."

"I will," he replied.

Because Hollywood had created some buzz lately, particularly about Heath Ledger's situation, some magazines tackled the box office of the movies released in 2008.

1.) The Dark Knight. $1.01 billion. Of course, people were not even surprised. This movie created the most buzz last year, and it also generated the highest revenue. Warner Brothers' promotion and usage of Heath Ledger's unfortunate situation further enhanced the money they earned. Both movie critics and audiences praised The Dark Knight for its dark storytelling, stunning cinematography, and Heath Ledger's legendary performance as the Joker. Many believed that Ledger had a chance to win the Oscar. As of now, Warner Brothers and The Dark Knight team were just waiting for the announcement of the Academy for the nominations of the 80th Academy Awards.

Many people believed Kazir was also one of the factors why The Dark Knight had an amazing performance. After all, Kazir was the King of Blockbusters... No one gave him this nickname officially, but people would probably agree with it.

2.) Wanted 3. $808 million. People might see a pattern. These past few years, movies produced by Grey Pictures were dominating the box office. Because of the past success of the Wanted franchise and the influence of the Continental Cinematic Universe, Wanted 3 had an amazing revenue.

3.) Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. $786 million. Despite mixed reviews from critics and fans and concerns about Harrison Ford's age, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull still managed to rake in an impressive $786 million worldwide. Nostalgia for the beloved franchise, along with Harrison Ford's return as Indiana Jones, drove ticket sales.
