Harry takes his ring walk with his team, while having a focused look on his face and the crowd sings, 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and afterwards, the begin to cheer, 'Harry, Harry, Harry'. Once he enters the ring, Harry waves to everyone here and standing on their feet within the stadium since this is his home town. Harry waits in his corner for Richard to arrive while Manny tells him, "Remember our plan to beat Richard tonight. Attack the body, be a hungry wolf who hasn't eaten in days and he just saw a freshly cooked steak thrown in front of him".
After Manny tells Harry this, Richard makes his way to the ring. The crowd begins to boo Richard as he walks towards the ring. Richard enters the ring. Richard approaches Harry and tells him, "You're finished man because this is my fight. I'm going to beat you in your home town, once again. I'm going to knock you out" while Harry responds, "Nah, no way. This is my victory. I'm going to show you who I truly am and walk out of here the winner by knocking you out, not the other way around".
The ring announcer begins, "Ladies and Gentleman, boxing fans around the world, welcome to Anfield, the home of Liverpool Football Club, for this bout between tow great Heavyweight fighters. In the red corner, age 31, weighing 218 pounds, standing 6 feet 1, with a professional record of 30 fights, 30 wins, 0 losses, 0 draws with 25 knock outs to his name, wearing the Scottish National Colours of blue and white, fighting out of Johnstone, Glasgow, The Scottish National Champion, Richard 'The Duke' Davidson". The crowd has mixed feelings towards Richard as they boo him and most of them cheer his name.
The announcer continues, "And in the blue corner, age 29, weighing 207 pounds, standing 6 feet tall, with a professional record of 24 fights, 19 wins, 5 losses, 0 draws with 13 knock outs to his name, wearing a union jack shorts, fighting out of London, England, The English National Champion, Harry 'The Hunter' Edwards" which the crowds cheers, 'Harry, Harry, Harry'. Ref Michael Morgan calls them to the centre of the ring. He tells them, "Harry, Richard, you know the rules. There's no point in going over them. Give them a good, clean fight and when I tell you to break, break and in case of a knock down, head to your corner. Any questions? No? Then touch em up, get ready for the fight by going to your corners and wait for the bell to ring and for me to officially begin the fight".
Harry heads to his corner, then has his mouth guard placed in. Manny tells him, "This is it, lad. Remember your training and our plan for victory. All of these people are here for you, exactly like back when I first won the Heavyweight title 50 years ago, therefore, don't trade shots with Richard, wear him down by attacking the body. If you do that, this fight is ours, Harry. Go out there because this is your last fight, now make it count". Harry responds, "Yes, I will. It's a good plan so let's do this, Manny. This one is ours. It's our fight to win since I've got a secret move to defeat Richard as that's what I've been doing in secret". Harold sees Elizabeth waving to him. She blows him a kiss and wishes him good luck. To which the bell goes to signal the start of the first round to War Zone 2, the second bout between The Hunter and The Duke.
Round one begins. Richard comes over to Harry in a rush and hits him with straight jabs, left and rights to the head. Harry tries his best to either block or slip the jab however, most of them he manages to dodge but the rest lands. Manny yells to Harry, "Keep your hands up and block, lad or just move out of the way and move around the ring". Harry hears what Manny tells him. Richard continues to throw the jabs but Harry dodges them and lands hard body shots, left and right hooks and uppercuts to the body, to which the crowd howls with excitement. Richard begins to feel the effects of those blows but he manages to back Harry into the corner and continues to punish Harry with left and rights, hooks and jabs to the head.
Harry tries his best to fight back as he throws a fast left hand then another and another and another to Richard's head and body and Harry even begins to switch from fighting as a southpaw to an orthodox which confuses Richard. That manages to get himself out of the corner just Richard hits Harry with a hard uppercut and a right hook to the jaw which manages to knock Harry down in the first round. Brendan yells to Richard, "That's how you do it! All right, keep it up, Ricky! Yeah!". Richard raises his arms while saying, "I told you, I told everyone, I'm the best" while the ref tells Richard, "Head to your corner, Davidson". Elizabeth shows concern towards Harold as she gets to her feet and checks if Harold is okay, because she knows the truth about Harold's medical report which nobody else does.
The ref begins his count on Harry. One, two, three, four. Harry manages to get up by the count of five. The ref checks on Harry if he is able to continue the fight, which he is. The ref allows the fight to continue. Richard comes over to Harry and tries to land more straight jabs in order to end the fight but Harry times it right and hits Richard with a counter punch to the head. Richard is tagged with that punch. Harry then moves on to landing those hay maker body shots again and lands many head shots but the bell rings and the first round comes to and end.
Richard and Harry heads to their corners. Harry takes a seat. Andy gives Harry water to drink while Chris has a look at his face, for cuts and swelling but there doesn't seem to be any. Chris tells Harry, "Cover up, mate. Dodge and block as much as you can. Otherwise our last fight together is going to end with a loss". Harry nodes his head yes and tells Chris, "I'll do that, do the best that I can". Manny encourages Harry, "You're doing good, lad. Keep it up and continue with what you're doing because I trust you to do what's right" while Harry responds, "Thanks for everything and what you've done for me. I appreciate it" to which the bell goes to begin the second round.
Round two begins. This time, Harry is the one who goes after Richard. Harry has his left hand cocked and ready just waiting for the right moment to strike and switches back to fighting as a southpaw. Richard hits Harry with a couple of right jabs and a left hook but Harry blocks most of them. Harry lands the lefts and rights to the body and continues with left hooks to the head. Richard is stunned. Manny yells to Harry, "Go for it, lad! Go for the knock out! It's all you now and all for nothing and nothing for all, do it now!". Harry goes to Richard and is thinking knock out, as Harry lands the hard lefts to the head and lands rights to the body then with great effort on Harry's part, Richard goes down during the middle of the second round.
Everyone including Elizabeth as they stand up and cheers Harry on. Once Harry has scored the knock down, Elizabeth claps for Harold for a job well done. Harry heads to his corner while the ref begins his count just Harry has a look around the crowd, he notices that Natalie isn't sitting within the crowd and he starts to wonder where she is. The ref begins his count on Richard. One, two, three. Richard gets up by the count of four and once he's on his feet, the ref checks on Richard to see if he is okay. Richard says, "I'm fine" even though Richard has a bad cut above his right eye.
The ref lets the fight continue, but Harry is thinking knock out himself, to end the fight and knock Richard out. Harry makes his way to Richard in the centre of the ring, Richard and Harry unloads everything they have, trading shots with each other as Harry lets out everything he has, lefts and rights to the head and body while Richard is just a head hunter as he just goes on the attack with right and left jabs and hooks to Harry's head, the bell goes and it's the end of the second round. Harry heads to his corner and takes a seat. Chris has a look at him, Chris can see that Harry's cut above the right cheek and Harry has minor swelling on his left cheek. Chris does the best he can to take care of those wounds while Andy gives Harry water to drink and places ice on his shoulders to cool him down.
Manny tells Harry, "You're doing good since you won that round due to that knock down you scored and well on those judges scorecards just continue with that and we'll win for sure" Harry responds, "I will. I'll do my best and keep doing what I'm doing but I'm going to switch to orthodox and fight like that in the next round". Manny says, "All right, lad. Do that, it's a good strategy and I trust your plan. Confuse Richard and keep him guessing". The bell rings to signal the start of the third round.
Round three begins. Richard and Harry are standing in their corners, waiting and wondering what to do next and what the other fighter is going to do as well. Harry slowly walks over to Richard while keeping his left hand cocked with his right hand protecting his mid-section. Harry throws a left hook while Richard throws a right jab. They continue to trade punches with the centre of the ring. Harry times it perfectly by slipping a jab then begins to attack the body again with hooks and uppercuts as he is chopping Richard down. Everyone including Harry begins to see that Richard is coughing up blood, to which Manny yells, "Knock him out, Harry! Do it right now, don't wait! Right now, DO IT, HARRY!!!". Richard coughing up blood means that Harry has broken something inside him but before Harry can continue the fight and knock Richard out and win the fight, the bell goes ending the third round as Richard is saved by the bell.
Harry heads to his corner while Richard does the same. Harry sits down and requests, "Could I get some water to drink, please?". Andy brings him water while Chris has a look at Harry's cuts, bruises and swelling. Nevertheless, Chris tells Harry, "You've got nothing to worry about, as these wounds are nothing too serious. You'll be okay, my friend". Harry is breathing heavy while Manny tells him, "Don't give up now, Harry. Not just yet because you're nearly there. Richard is more broken than you are. Get back out there and break him and win the fight". Harry nodes his head yes then the bell goes signalling the start of the fourth round, to which he stands up and prepares for the next round.
Round four begins. Richard is clearly hurt as he protects himself by leaning slightly forward and he's not coming towards Harr like he did before but that doesn't stop Harry from coming to him. Harry approaches Richard and hits him with a few lefts and rights to the head. Richard tries his best to slip those punches or even block them but a few of them lands as Richard raises his hands to protect his face. However, as Richard does this, Harry moves on to attacking the body since all of this was a trap to fool Richard but this doesn't stop Richard from fighting back as he times it properly and hits Harry with left and right jabs to the head. Harry blocks most of them and dodges a few more then hits Richard with two left hooks followed up with three right hooks and then two uppercuts to the body.
They continue to trade punches in the centre of the ring and in the corners and near the ropes. Richard tags Harry hard in the nose which causes his nose to bleed. Nevertheless, lucky for both of them, the bell rings and ends the fourth round. Harry heads to his corner, has a seat and tells Manny, "I think Richard broke my nose again as it's hard to breathe through and it's bleeding a lot". Manny says, "Don't worry about it because it looks good just continue and breath through your mouth instead since your nose seems broken. You're winning this match. You're up on the scorecards by about five points and if the fight goes the distance, you could win on points but to make sure for victory, knock Richard out in the next round, don't wait any longer" while Harry responds, "I will, Manny. This fight is for both of us so let's end it with a win". The bell sounds and it's the start of the fifth round.
Round five begins. Everyone can see that Richard and Harry are exhausted as the fight has taken its hold on them but it seems to have taken more out of Richard than Harry as he's still able to stand up straight with both his hands up while Richard is leaning forward and protecting his abdomen. Richard and Harry move to the centre of the ring, they begin trading blows again as Richard throws the straight right jabs while Harry throws the left hooks as they continue to trade shots this way until Richard tags Harry with a hard-right jab to his left eye which manages to knock Harry down within the fifth round.
