"Kch!"
Trying to continue his attack, he sets aside the thrown projectile and dashed towards Pale Doll by flailing his torn-off arm like a bat, avoiding Nicole's attack with her umbrella. The fleshy-metal bat hit her face like a female actress slapping the male lead for the 100th time since she can't memorize her line. Maybe not having put such emotion behind her words, Naikhee sends her flying to the ceiling but finds the building unshakable as she stops time on it.
"Gotta make sure we don't pay insurance companies…" taunted Blondie, swinging the hotel door open as he tried dropkicking Nicole up further. She rolls sideways to evade it but is met with fast-traveling dirt, peppering the unseasoned white chick and going for a spear strike to her hand. As if trying something from a biblical standpoint, Nicole pushes her body to the left and catches the spear before breaking it in half and flinging it back.
Unfortunately, the dirt he flung- one stuck to her clothes instead became a wall to block it, having thought that delaying the attack would confuse Blondie to dodge it. "Accelerated or not, he should've been under the impression I was…" She flipped upside down and strode the lands of Australia as she followed Naikhee's blur entering the hotel.
"If he's planning to escape…"
A crowd frozen in time, one immovable akin to a maze. There were people in line for a party, one signing up for leave and one for entering, others were recently parked or were about to eat at some fancy restaurant. Many were simply sitting at the longue waiting for them to be called out, some having fun with the thingumajigs on the hotel and others playing some Twenty-Unos on the side.
"I'll have to switch to the offensive..."
Nicole began to dash through the statues as he grabbed one of the cards- a plus ten- before throwing it at a running Naikhee. He gets through the Reception and goes into the store room, a tight corner into a locker as the wind pulls a mop from the janitor's closet.
She leaped on the card and spun around, redirecting the road course of the flat car to the place-where-no-sane-person-except-that-one-weird-kid.
As Nicole locked eyes with Blonde hair, there were multiple sharp tissue papers meant to trap and hopefully immobilize her. But knowing he was on his way to escape, she threw the card at him regardless.
Was his hand healed? She didn't see any visuals of it. And even if she tried to see through, he'd simply block the connection. Though both were under different assumptions, taking the risk wasn't out of their suggested plans.
"Stopping time on a larger scale negates the other areas stopped in time.." she thought, before holding both hands up and having the area around the card be put in the negative zone once again. A "spherical ripple"- one as wide as about ten cups- surrounded Naikhee's torso and reached over to the back of his head.
"But the only reason you're able to use your power in stopped time was due to using the circles on your cerebrum to process the necessary thought as well as keeping the neocortex running for your Daydream to activate..." thought in her mind as she braced herself.
She took the incoming tissue papers as they dug into her mechanical flesh before the power suddenly... stopped. Not stopping as a result of malfunction but of... something else. Though the Pale Doll appears immobile, her opponent, however...
"I only stopped time at the brain stem as well as the entire spinal cord..." she said, pointing one finger up as she slowly tried getting through the napkin spears. "Lacking the former causes coma as well as the inability to think," she holds another finger up making two, "...and lacking the latter causes paralysis..."
Like a snail stabbed with many knives, she eventually made it past the napkins and prepared for a punch in the stomach, when suddenly...
BANG!
Events sometimes appear to be unexpected when one thinks they have the upper hand. Like a bullet piercing through, she found herself in a gigantic implosion.
"A decoy for a delayed attack!" a last-moment-of-regret type of thought before being blasted out into another building, causing another quake in the earth. The hotel remained intact thanks to the stopped objects acting as invulnerable shields.
"So he 'is' able to still use his power despite the disability..." she thought, slumping on the railing as she had stopped time on the object behind her, though it cost more sweat than the money she needed to pay for the insurance in case it is destroyed.
"Or maybe he is just pretending to be 'able' to when the attack was clearly pre-planned..."
Crouching down on a stair, she slowly began healing her bleeding wounds as more puddles of weird-colored "blood" poured down the stairs, catching the drops with her right hand as she gave them a look- a reflection of something approaching.
A little glint made it through the liquid as she glanced up and leaped through the sky, meeting the same blonde as the card that had struck him gets destroyed with wind spears.
"One trick pony, huh?" she taunts.
The two plane-people-but-not-really-"human" land on a local BBQ grill, the scent of oh-so-fragrant smoke standing still- greatly like the roof of the place.
Nicole charges in and ducks under a swing from the mop-turned-glaive as she grabs hold of the shaft and spins around on top before hitting Naikhee with her accelerated heel. Blocked by his shoulder shifting into a spike, she pushed him away but was met with a palm to the thigh, and made her be knocked away instead by built-up momentum.
"Same thing for you..." a late rebuttal from Blondie.
She lands on the pavement- one near the entrance of a salon (Elmer's Hairdo)- as the man who fetched her arrives at her location rather than the initial deduction posited. The pale doll swings the door like a teenage girl changing her hair color after breaking up with her online boyfriend, before Blondie follows up.
Nicole dashed and walked to the mirrors up the side- stopped in time of course- grabbing the nearby scissors and hot towel, before making a run back to the gas price that is the Yellow guy, who had a hair blower with him instead.
She threw the scissors, missing deliberately as little white string trails off of it, whilst doing a punch kick for the added spice to the meal. To further mix the flavors, Blondie catches the leg and pushes her away towards a chair.
However, the seasoning became too much as the scissors found their way to Naikhee's behind, with Nicole pulled the sharp cutting thing with the towel she stretched, making him land on a chair.
The two sat there in a pose, like fashion models about to get a picture taken and be posted for an advertisement. But as the two dashed toward each other after five full seconds, Naikhee backed away further and had Nicole be pulled through the towel she had in hand.
As if her hair didn't get dry enough, Blondie pushed himself to ruin Nicole's attempt to kick and pointed the hair blower right up the temple. She attempts to stop time, but the lag time between her reactions causes a delay.
And a delay was all that he needed.
The wind blew her ferociously, like a storm brewing from inside the device as he set it beyond the intended maximum, the gigantic yet mini typhoon flying her towards the women's bathroom twenty meters away from the target she desired to defeat.
Stood she did, but a matter of moments ran minutes in real-time. And with her vision clearing, Blondie was already in absentia.
"Huh?"
