Chapter 19 Part II

“I’m just telling you ahead of time. If you haven’t done it yet, don’t act guilty.”

The young woman looked at his neutral face, which could still greatly annoy her. He liked to bring up duty and responsibility as excuses or to coerce her into things. They were not things she could object to even once.

The young man took the woman by the hand into a coffee shop and ordered hot tea for her without asking for her input. He ordered black coffee for himself. In a short while, a large cup of mint tea topped with lemon was placed in front of them.

Sakunthara looked at the young man again. She met his eyes, which had already been looking at her. He told her in a tender voice before she could ask, “The weather outside is cold. Drinking some hot tea will make you feel better. Your mouth is completely pale.”
